About this property
Green Mountain Tiny House: a mountainside retreat
Summary:
A unique tiny house vacation rental offering contemporary, Vermont farmhouse luxury in the Green Mountains. As featured on A&E's Living Smaller, Episode 12!
Pets welcome with a $100 pet fee.
The Space:
The Green Mountain Tiny House is tiny vacation living at its finest. The house offers a full kitchen with four-burner gas stove and oven, farmhouse sink, butcher-block countertops, electric fireplace, AC, 40” Smart TV, 100 mbs Starlink WiFi, small soaking bathtub with shower, Public Goods soaps and products, flushing toilet, bedroom loft with Casper queen mattress accessible by a full set of stairs, a wooded outdoor area with deck, patio, Solo stove, Weber grill, picnic table, and Adirondack chairs...just to name a few features. Dogs welcome with a $100 pet fee. Come enjoy Vermont in a whole new way!
The Green Mountain Tiny House is nestled in a wooded setting across the road from the Ball Mountain Brook. While outside, you can usually hear the brook flowing, which provides for extremely nice ambiance!
In addition, The Green Mountain Tiny House is just minutes away from some of the best attractions in Southern Vermont:
* Downtown Jamaica: 5 minutes
* Pikes Falls Swimming Hole: 5 minutes
* Stratton Mountain Resort: 10 minutes
* Bromley Mountain: 25 minutes
* Mt. Snow: 30 minutes
* Downtown Manchester (shops, outlet stores, dining, and more): 30 minutes
* Downtown Brattleboro (independent shops, dining, and breweries): 30 minutes
Guest Access:
Please note that The Green Mountain Tiny House shares part of its driveway with another one of our rentals, The Green Mountain Modern House (which resides on a separate, neighboring property). Each house has its own private outdoor amenities, including parking.
The Neighborhood:
Jamaica is a wonderful artist community tucked away in the Green Mountains. Walk out the door for an adventure on the West River Trail. The two nearby state parks, Townshend and Jamaica, have numerous overlook trails and the West River offers kayaking, rafting and tubing. Gourmet dining and designer outlets are a close drive to Manchester, Vermont. Spend a day skiing on the slopes at one of the nearby ski resorts: Stratton, Bromley, Mount Snow, Magic Mountain, or Okemo. Hike or bicycle to one of the popular swimming holes; both Hamilton and Pikes Falls are very close.
Getting Around:
Given our hillside location, we recommend all-wheel drive in the winter and spring months.
Other Things to Note:
Bringing your pup along? They are totally welcome with an additional $100 pet fee. Just let us know if you'll be bringing your pet along when you make your reservation.
Please note that Green Mountain Tiny House is a non-smoking residence (both inside and out). Any violation of this rule will result in a $500 fine.
