Historic Downtown Apt with hot tub-walk downtown

The Morgan house is a Frame Vernacular style home built in 1892. The home is named for Mathew Morgan, who was the Ocala Police Chief from 1923 until 1928. The suite contains its own private entrance, living room/kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, and bedroom, and a shared backyard area. The bathroom features a tiled shower with a rain shower head fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and towels and a double vanity. The bedroom features a king sized bed, closet, fireplace, sound machine, ceiling fan, Smart TV, along with an extra pillow and blanket. The kitchen features a full sized refrigerator, stove, dishwasher coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and essentials like salt/pepper, oil, tea, coffee, creamer, sugar, etc. There is a dining bar for two. The laundry room has a washer and dryer along with an iron and ironing board.
The Living Room has a sectional that converts to a full sized bed, a large smart TV, and a fireplace.
The TV is a smart TV so bring along your login information for Hulu, Netflix, prime etc. If you don’t have a membership, each app offers free trials in addition to the other free apps on Roku and live TV tile on Roku. The entrance features a roll top desk and chair as a workstation. We do include a welcome gift of pastries to get you started on your first morning. The shared back deck offers a gas grill, outdoor dining table, 6 person hot tub, and outdoor furniture. There are hammocks as well. There are two bikes available for your use as well. There is one reserved parking space provided. If another space is needed, please message me to make arrangements. **We offer one of the most affordable rates for a one bedroom within walking distance to the downtown restaurants/bars, shops, and entertainment. **There is no pet fee, no additional person fee, only a $60 cleaning fee. Guests are not asked to do laundry/cleaning etc. as housekeepers will take care of it upon check out. Each apartment is cleaned by professional housekeepers who are paid by the cleaning fee with no markup for the owner. **We offer great discounts for weekly and monthly stays.

This is our second time staying. The host is super prompt. We love it here. Clean, comfortable and had all the amenities to make our stay enjoyable! Location is so convenient for walking into town, riding trails at Santos and Ross Prairie SP, and hiking and boating at Silver Springs SP.

SUPER COZY AND CUTE! Host thought of everything from little snacks to usb-c outlets by the bed. Patio is fenced in and hot tub was wonderful, the jets did wonders after an 8 hour drive.I highly recommend and we’ll be coming back with friends.I read a review complaining about the parking and lack of garbage. I did not have any problems with those. Parking was extremely easy and straightforward and they have garbage cans in the backyard, it’s just a matter of opening a gate, very simple.

Hi Jill. We could not find garbage cans to dispose of garbage. Also, the assigned parking was very close to branches. I have a new car and my sister was exiting the passenger side. I had to park further back in order not to scratch my car. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Cant say I enjoy the 8 out of 10 rating, most guests ask if they can't find something. As the trash cans are right inside the gate.
