About this property

Quite Cottage on Private Lake w/Fishing Boat Included!

Lake 21 is a small 69 acre quite lake with no public access and great fishing!
Beautiful views from deck. Cottage is located toward the end of a private cul-de-sac.
The cottage sleeps 6. With one full size bed and two queen beds. Also has pull out sofa in living area for kids.
Kitchen is fully stocked.
Bathroom has sink, toilet and shower
Bath towels, sheets, pillows and blankets provided.
Gas grill is ready for use on the deck overlooking the lake.
There are several stairs to the water and beautiful new deck with it's own dock.
The 15' aluminum Grumman boat w/15 hp, 4-stroke awaits with a full tank of gas. Bring your own fishing gear.
Good swimming off of the lake deck.
Your private watercraft is not allowed on the lake. If you do decide to bring your own boat there are several larger lakes in the area with public access.
Please bring your own beach towels.
Please fill boat gas. No smoking in cottage. The cottage is open year around. We have had a few problems with dogs, so no dogs allowed.

We found this cottage to be entirely comfortable and on a charming lake Mine was the only boat on the lake, which is generally deserted and offers an abundance of nature. The fishing was excellent. I did some trolling and caught two 5.5 lb largemouth bass. My wife visited the nature preserve at Hastings, only 15 minutes away, and saw many species of birds. The host, Pam, was very accommodating and easy to reach. We will definitely be returning to this VRBO.

30th anniversary trip!

Great place to stay! Loved eating at Bowen’s in Delton. Go checkout Way too Cheap in Hastings if you are a thrifter. House was very clean and inviting.

Perfect spot

We had the best stay at Pam’s cottage. It’s extremely clean, well appointed and perfect for a visit with friends and family. The fishing boat was a bonus and fun to use while we were there. Would highly recommend!

Nice getaway location

We were pleased with our experience. The owner was outgoing and provided very good communication. The house felt much larger than it was. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean and there was everything we needed for cooking. Tons of fishing (it will wreck future fishing because you aren't supposed to catch them that easy).

Our 3rd time here. Pam our host is the best! Everything up here is close stores restaurants. Beautiful Home exceptionally stocked. Just bring you and your clothes. Great view of Lake 21.
