Lakefront Getaway on Beautiful Long Lake - Sleeps 9!

Come for a week & kayak (5 adult & 2 children provided) or paddle board (2 provided) on beautiful Long Lake in Delton, Michigan. Or bring your own boat and tie it to my dock or ask me for a referral for a local company that rents pontoon boats. Delton is in SW Barry County and is near Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo and Battle Creek. The lake is 300 acres of all sports enjoyment. A new 20 x 20 sand area at the lakefront as well as a muck mat in the water have been added in 2026. Year round home is 2000 sq ft with beautiful views from the decks. Enjoy evening camp fires (wood provided) or just relax around the table on the deck. For adults, there are casinos and breweries nearby. Propane grill provided as well as all beach and bath towels and life jackets. Home sleeps at least 9 with 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths. Bedroom 1: Queen bed, Bedroom 2: Full & twin bed, Bedroom 3: Queen bed & Bedroom 4: 2 twin beds. Refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, washer, dryer & central air & heat. Fully stocked kitchen even has a crock pot, pancake griddle, waffle iron and regular and Keurig coffee makers. All linens provided or bring your own. Smoking is allowed on the decks or in the yard, but not in the house. No WIFI, but you can create your own hot spot.

The view from this property, overlooking the lake is incredible! The house was clean, spacious and fully stocked with essentials. Our host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. We are certainly planning to return in the future !

The cottage is nicely furnished and comfortable. The power was out and we didn't go until the following day, bringing a generator with us. Denise (owner) was so easy and nice to work with. Happily the power came back the 1st evening we were there. I gave a 5 star rating! Plus the cottage is a good size with lots of room!

The owner met us when we got there and gave us a full tour—so nice! The home was immaculately clean and well supplied and had so many nice touches—toys, lots of towels, laundry detergent, lotion, too much to mention but such a great experience! She’s also very accommodating for our crowd. Just can’t say enough good things.

Spent a week at the property. Plenty of room for family of four plus four visiting family members from Tucson, AZ and get togethers with aging parents who lived 3 miles down the road. Enjoyed morning and evening walks along the lake and kayaking/paddle boarding. Lake Water was clean and very warm but refreshing! Host was very nice and helpful at check in and during our stay. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and family time at the lake and surrounding area.

Relaxed family vacation

We have been here twice. For us it is a great location. Easy to book without any problems. Even though the lakeshore property is rather small, it was good for us. Kyaks available is a plus. Nice people around. Contact with owner upon arriving and she is great, but no contact manager.

Family get away

The house exceeded expectation. Very roomy well stocked kitchen. Lots of towels and life jackets and toys for a two year old. The weather was hot, the house had great air circulation. Our thirty year olds particularly enjoyed the collection of VCR tapes.

We had a lovely time at the lake. The house had everything we needed during our stay and there was plenty of space. The view from the lake was beautiful. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking to rent on Long Lake.A couple of improvements: The grill is rusting out and needs to be replaced. The kitchen cupboards and drawers stick and can be difficult to open. The smoke detector goes off when baking even when no smoke is present and it alarms throughout the entire house which can be troublesome when you've got a baby napping. The gravel driveway has a steep grade, and due to poor drainage can turn into a bit of a river during heavy rain. Other than that, it's a steal of a deal and we really enjoyed our time there. We'll very likely rent again in future summers.

Thank you for your comments. I will replace the grill in the Spring. I never noticed the kitchen cabinets and drawers sticking, but can have hardware installed for easier opening. The smoke detector is hard wired and has been there since I purchased the property 18 years ago. I will check with my contractor to see if it can be moved deeper into the living room. The drainage has been an issue since I replaced my retaining walls. I just paid $1000 to clean out the lower drain. I am waiting for a quote to run piping from the lower drain down the driveway. I have discovered that we have clay soil here which drains slowly. I hope to have the issue resolved later this fall.

Wonderful spacious lake home!

Denise was a terrific host! She met us at the house to give us a tour. Very clean home with well-stocked kitchen, 3 decks, and great lake views! We enjoyed kayaking with our grandkids (she has kayaks and lifejackets). Beach access is a mile away. Nearby town of Hastings has shops, park, and good restaurants. We had a terrific week and Denise was quick to reply to questions. 5 star rating!!

Great Lake Property-Quiet Area

Our week long stay at this home was great. The lake is active yet quiet. We had a blast on the kayaks and the home was well appointed with the amenities we needed for the week. The neighborhood was quiet and a short drive to a small town, longer drive to other places like Grand Rapids and Lansing. We would stay here again! Thank you!

Family vacation

Denise was an excellent host, communication was easy and her response time was always very fast. The house had every amenity you could want! It was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed using our boat on the lake all week, as well as kayaking and paddle boarding. Great place for a family vacation!

Long Lake lake home

House was great for myself, 2 daughters and families. Appreciated the updates (bathrooms, flooring, fridge) that were recently made to the home. We were fortunate to have access to a pontoon boat from another property. Without that, lake access would’ve been difficult for my young grandchildren. The multi-story deck was great for outdoor space.

Nice vacation rental.

Perfect for large families. Right on the lake but does not have beach area or a sandy bottom. Lake great for fishing, boating and kayaking. Fully stocked kitchen. Beautiful decks and views! Need some updating.

The owner Denise is very nice and accommodating. The house is very clean and stocked with lots of items you will use like firewood, toiletries, gas grill, griddles, coffee makers, etc. Although the house does not have wifi, our Verizon phones worked well for us. There is also a dock very close by where we docked a jet ski that we rented for the week from Leaders RPM out of Kalamazoo. Lots of deck space for outdoor relaxing. We have rented hear 5 years ago, and would consider a return again in the future.

Very spacious for 6

4 adults and 2 kids stayed for a week. Had a great time and plenty of space. We rented a pontoon and kept it at the dock all week. Fishing from the pier was excellent for small pan fish. Denise was a great hostess and even kept in touch throughout the week.

Great stay

First time in a long while for my family to get together and we really enjoyed it. Denise was very welcoming. Helped me contact boat rental agent to rent a pontoon boat. There are 4 kayaks that my grand children really enjoyed.
