About this property

Encino Viejo (Old Oak)-Ranch Style Home on 5 Acres

Country home on 5+ acres. 20 minutes to downtown Austin and 5 minutes to the famous Salt Lick BBQ. Easy access to multiple vineyards and wedding venues of Driftwood and Dripping Springs. Perfect for family or friends attending weddings, bachelorette parties, girls weekends, even small family reunions. An outdoor dining table seats 14 and large oaks provide ample shade. A sand volleyball court and an open pasture are great for outdoor fun. And, enjoy the serenity of a wet weather creek.

This is a private residence on five acres with plenty of space between the neighbors.

Chapel Dulcinea is on the hill above our property and you can hear the wedding bells ring often. Plenty of space for parking. Ask about hosting events of over 20 people.

A code to an electronic keypad on the front door will be provided for your stay.

My wife and I will be staying in a cabin on adjacent property or in our RV not far away and will be available for questions or assistance. I drive a 2017 Luxury Ford Expedition that seats 7 passengers and am available for trips into town or local vineyards, distilleries and breweries.

We are located in the Heart of the Texas Hill Country and are close to many local wedding venues, vineyards, distilleries, breweries, the Salt Lick BBQ, the Wizard Academy and Chapel Dulcinea. Travel twenty minutes to downtown Austin during evening and weekend traffic.

Plenty of onsite parking with a gated entrance. Your host drives a winery/distillery/brewery tour on weekends in Mercedes Coach Limos through Slow Pokes Wine Tours. For wedding transport check Your Day Charters.  Clint also manages the adjacent property Dove Hollow Ranch on 7+ acres with a large 7 bedroom, 5 bath house that sleeps up to 22.  For larger events such as family reunions, retreats or wedding events you can rent both together.

Located twenty minutes to Austin, thirty minutes to San Marcos, forty five minutes to New Braunfels and one hour to San Antonio or Fredericksburg. We have lived in this area for 30+ years and are very familiar with local attractions and can make recommendations at your request.

Beautiful grounds and great location

The grounds are beautiful and several activities are provided. We were in town for a wedding at Chapel Dulcinea and it couldn't have been a better location. Shopping and dining are also nearby.

Amazing house with all the trimmings you need. If you are looking for a place to relax on 7 acres with natural wildlife and beauty then this is the place. Great place for a wedding. We will probably come back to celebrate anniversary

Awesome place and host!

Such a fun place!

We rented this property for my father’s 60th birthday. He enjoyed the time with the family and we were able to play volleyball and spent so much time at the fire pit! The owners are great at communicating and they were really flexible with us.

Relaxing family getaway

Wonderful large house fully stocked with everything we needed. Kitchen is more than fully equipped and the outdoor area is a great place to enjoy time with family. We played cornhole and horseshoes and enjoyed fresh eggs from the chickens. Clint was very helpful answering our questions. We had a great time!

Home away from Home!

Clint and Sylvia are wonderful to work with when staying at this property. This is a return visit for us once again bringing together family from across the country to a special event in the Austin area. Pleasant wedding celebration weekend

The property owner was helpful and very accommodating. The house had everything we needed and then some for me and my family from my elderly father to my very young granddaughters. We thoroughly enjoyed the outside amenities, such as the firepit, with our visiting family and friends. If we should need another property of this size in the area, we would definitely reserve this property again.
