Beautiful house Itapua beach

Vila Urquiza was built by New York based artist Nicolas Urquiza.

Located in a beautiful area on the city of Salvador, between the National Abaete Park, and one of the most beautiful beaches of Salvador, Itapua.
Where famous Brazilian artists as Vinicious De Moraes, Jorge Amado, Carlos Bastos, Calazans Neto in between others found their inspiration in it, building their fantastic homes.

The area is surrounded by magic, history, and a peaceful neighborhood mixed of "old Bahian Aristocracy" and "Fisherman Village"...
Vila Urquiza was years ago, home of a religious temple, where people from all over town would come to dance, pray, sing and celebrate the joy of life.

The house keeps the vibe of the place, simple, elegant, with vibrant colors and walls that safeguard the privacy of our guests...
Decorated with elements from local artisans, and a fun collection of international art work...

Long Stay

I was alone in the house 2 weeks then friends and family joined me the last 10 days of my visit. The house is very cute. It would be best for a family or really close friends. There are 3 single beds and one double bed. The neighborhood felt safe for me - foreign woman, traveling alone. There is a lively night scene. There are amazing restaurants, small shops, and grocery stores in walking distance. I also frequented the post office and laundromat nearby. *I do not recommend this rental for anyone with cat allergies. There are cats that visit the property from neighboring yards.
