The host gave perfect instructions. The location is in a perfect area to walk to many historical sites and shopping areas. The accommodations easily support two people and up to four. There are two taxi stands that are less than 100 yd away and the underground is close by. Just an all around great experience.
We loved our stay. What a great location, and just enough room for three adults. Check-in was very easy, and we were no more than a ten-minute walk or ride to everything. We absolutely would stay here again.
This flat was perfect! Friendly concierge & wonderful area to stay. Great communication when our flight was cancelled. Would definitely recommend & my family would stay again!!
I traveled with my mom, sister, and niece to visit my offspring who decided to make her stay in London permanent. The flat was gorgeous, well appointed, and comfortable. Checking in/out was super easy, and we were conveniently located to multiple bus stops and train stations, so getting around London was a breeze! I would highly recommend and will definitely look into staying here on a future trip to London!
Our family of four had a wonderful stay here! The flat is conveniently located to lots of major attractions and tube lines. Having a doorman was very convenient because we checked in quite late at night. We would definitely come back!
Great apartment great location . Stayed 8 days was amazing.coming from the US and were able to check in early. Can’t wait to return. Thanks for sharing you’re beautiful apartment.
What a great flat with a perfect location for visiting London for the first time! Quiet during the evenings and felt very secure as well with friendly concierges at the entrance to the building. Host was very accommodating and fortunately was able to provide us an earlier check-in as our overseas flight arrived mid afternoon.
Who knew there was residential on Whitehall! So centrally located near everything, yet quiet in the evenings. Smooth checking in to receive keys. Our family with older teenagers really enjoyed our stay. Thanks!
The flat slept our family of four comfortably, it was a bonus to have two bathrooms (though small). The street is quiet yet very close to Big Ben/Westminster Abbey and Covent Gardens. Michael was very responsive and provided thorough directions and appliance manuals.
Everything about this visit was a delight. Perfect neighborhood, gorgeous apt, all our needs met and exceeded. Wish we didn’t have to leave.
Peace and gratitude TK
Only criticism is to offer more closet and drawer space for clothes and personal washroom items. A bit cluttered. The location was epic and the building was really nice. The concierge was tremendous. Definitely would stay again when we’re in London!
Location could not be better for central London. Near Trafalgar, Westminster, Embankment Tube Station.
Good communication with host.
Two toilets and sinks so could get ready faster as a family.
Nice and open feeling with balcony looking out to street. Very safe location.
Awesome location, great building! Good communication with host and amenities just as described. Laundry is a smaller 2/1 unit where the loads take quite a while to wash/dry. My wife was unable to locate a hair dryer, there may have been one but we didn’t find it.

Great location, with some minor issues
The location cannot be beat! The building is secure and very convenient to transportation. However, the unit is missing some basic kitchen essentials (only a Nespresso that requires special pods for coffee, no microwave, etc). Communication with the owner/manager wasn't amazing. But if I wanted this location, I would stay here again.
The location and host were great….the building is beautiful. They do advertise having air conditioning but it is only the bedroom and air does not work very well. There was also major construction going on and in the building and we were woken each day with ridiculously loud construction noise from scaffolding being built in the middle of the building. We should have been informed of this construction and given the chance the to cancel the booking

Dear Anthony, Thank you for your comments above. In short, we will have a look at the main bedroom's air conditioner. Our flat has two air conditioning units: (1) Ceiling based traditional air con in the main bedroom and (2) Portable air conditioner that can be moved between rooms. You communicated to us that you preferred your room temperature at or below 20 celsius. Our housekeeper ran the air con for 24 hours before your arrival and found the room to be cold. We will ask her if at any point in time the air con did not work. You also had access to the portable air conditioner that is completely new. It does not seem you had the full use of it. In relation to construction, we were not aware of any construction and you did not communicate such during your stay. Central London often has construction activity. Normally it is within proscribed hours and regulated. We will ask what happened during your days of stay. You did reach out that the flat was not cool enough for you. We also note that most flats in London do not have air conditioning at all, of any kind.
The property was a wonderfully historic building, once home to George Bernard Shaw in the late 19th century.
Just a few minutes' walk to Trafalgar Square, staffed by the most charming concierge, and very comfortable beds. And talk about holy water pressure, Batman!
Host was communicative and quick to respond to queries.
There was no jacuzzi tub as advertised, but as neither of us take baths, didn’t matter to us. The internet had moments of fussiness, so if you need a constant strong connection for work, keep that in mind. We only needed it for personal matters and weren’t too bothered if it cut out.
Overall, i definitely would recommend for a stay in London.

Thank you for the feedback:
1. You are right. The bathrooms have been completely refurbished with a new bath that does not have ‘bubbles’ jacouzzi. We shall update the listing
2. On the internet - there are two Wi-Fi points - one jn the bedroom area and one in the living room and kitchen area. The reason we have two access points is because our building had proper brick walls which is a good blocker for inter room Wi-Fi. We will update our guide to make sure folks are aware of both access points.
I would have given the property five stars, except for two lacks. First, the cutlery is minimal. For example, the kitchen has only two teaspoons. Not helpful if a family of three are all eating soup or cereal at the same time! Second, there is no house book indicating how things work. We ended up having to call the owner to learn how to get the air-conditioning and the TV to function. The location is excellent and one can easily walk to the nearest tube stop. Security in the building is also excellent.

Thanks Barry. Noted on tea spoons. We will ask the housekeeper to restock. House manual is available electronically via VRBO once you have booked, but we will make sure to ask our guests in the future if the electronic house manual is clear.
My husband and I and our 2 adult children stayed a week. The location was spectacular and we easily walked to every sight we wanted to visit. We did take an Uber boat to Tower of London but we were very close to Embankment pier. Our adult daughter agreed prior to arrival to sleep on the living room couch “bed” as the flat only has 2 bedrooms. She was uncomfortable on the stiff couch but she made due. The location and beauty of the building really did make our trip phenomenal. The one detail to share and we have rented many houses and apartments was the amount of personal items kept in the home. It seemed as if the owners left just before we arrived. We lived out of our open suitcases on the livingroom floor because we had nowhere to store our things and never felt comfortably moved in. We had never experienced this before.

Thank you for your feedback. We have asked the housekeeper to make sure that if our visitors leave stuff in the closet or cupboards to remove these. For the sofa bed we can provide a softer mattress if requested. It is indeed a flat and not a hotel, ideally suited for folks who enjoy staying in a home rather than a hotel. For example we have many books that are enjoyed by our guests.
Loved this flat in a great area of London. Highly recommend, especially if you are on a family trip. Tons of space and a great kitchen to cook some meals!
We enjoyed the property and would consider it again when we return to London. It has a great location and the management was very easy to work with. The presence of the Doorman / Concierge made us feel safe. My only suggested improvement is to put a microwave oven in the kitchen.
Wonderful flat walkable to everything and easy access to embankment tube station. Quick replies from host. Hot shower and comfy bed. We loved every minute of our stay here and highly recommend it.
Great flat within walking distance to MANY great places!
