We found this listing because it was so close to Dollywood. The difference between staying at a hotel or the resort, was no comparison to our stay at the sleighridae. Having our privacy and our own private hot tub with a full kitchen was amazing. When we first arrived, the hot tub was not warming up. When I contacted our host the next morning, they sent out a technician within a few hours and it was working great. The cabin was cozy and clean with everything we needed for our stay. I will highly recommend this place to all of my friends and family.

The sleigh ride cabin was an absolute joy to visit for my family. The cabin had a wonderful rustic exterior and interior design with loads of charm and personality. The amenities inside were clean, well maintained, and easy to use. The area around the cabin is amazing, just a short walk to Dollywood, a 10 minute drive from the city strip, and 25 minutes from the Smokey mountain national park. This cabin is a perfect place to rest and relax after an eventful day of activities. The real gem for my kids was the fully stocked game room on the side of the cabin. A huge assortment of games, a hot tub, big screen television, and a retro game station that was a big draw for my little ones.10/10 vacation, and planning to return to this exact cabin in the future.

Sleighride was amazing for a 2 night trip to Dollywood for their inaugural race weekend. It would not be an easy walk to Dollywood as it is across a busy road and at the end of the huge parking lot (so you'd still have to shuttle to the entrance) but it was SUPER convenient for driving and I did walk to Splash Country, since it is on the same side of the street. My husband picked me up after so I didn't have to walk back up the steep driveway! Check in was very easy, amenities were excellent and we loved being able to watch TV from the hot tub in the game room. Thanks!

The property was wonderful. We brought our pup, which was great. My son loved the game room. The beds were extremely comfortable. Plenty of extra pillows and blankets. They even provided towels for the hot tub. There was also plenty of toiletries and supplies. It was a super quick drive to the Dollywood facilities so that allowed us to quickly return to walk our dog during our trip.

We are committed to providing you with the best accommodations during your stay.

David’s story began in Nairobi, Kenya, where he grew up before moving to Knoxville, Tennessee as a teenager. After earning his Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Tennessee, he launched a successful career with a Japanese automotive manufacturer, eventually rising into senior management and traveling frequently to Japan. Years later, David left the corporate world to pursue his passion for real estate investing, seeking more time with family and a chance to build something meaningful.
Denise, born and raised in Knoxville, has an extensive background in dance choreography, physical therapy, personal training & fitness — which shows in her energy, and passion for helping others.
Recognizing the gap in reliable, investor-focused property management, David founded a company tailored to help busy investors professionally manage their vacation rental cabins.
What started as a single investment quickly grew into a thriving property management company serving investors across the Smoky Mountains. Under his leadership, the company has grown from a single property to over 40 cabins in less than three years, offering full-service management that includes marketing, maintenance, guest communication, and owner support — all with no startup or onboarding costs.

Beyond business, David and Denise love traveling and making memories with their family across Tennessee, Texas, and Kenya. David is a lifelong soccer fan who fulfilled his dream of attending the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, while Denise has enjoyed more than a dozen cruises. Together, they’re already planning the next adventure — the next World Cup and a long-awaited return to Japan, this time for leisure.
