This fabulous space features a king bed with attached full bath plus a 1/2 bath adjacent to the living room for your visitors. Forsyth Park is an easy stroll north on Bull Street, or you can walk South to the Starland Yard area. . The tranquil brick streets lined with Live Oaks dripping in Spanish moss make it easy to unwind after a day of exploring. Experience what Savannah has to offer with a stay at the Dragonfly Cottage.
Like many carriage houses in this beautiful city, ours is located above a two car garage. You enter the property through a gate adjacent to the garage and enter a small courtyard to find the exterior staircase. These stairs lead you to your beautiful and private carriage house retreat.

The apartment is beautiful, meticulously detailed interior, the owners are the greatest you’ll find. Parking was no problem walking distance from just about everything. We would highly recommend, especially over the high priced valet parking hotels in the area. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautifully appointed. Did have some difficulty with Uber drivers finding the property on multiple occasions. Need to take quick showers or the hot water runs out. Even with these inconveniences I would stay again.

Thank you for the feedback. We will make sure to leave instructions in the cottage regarding how to direct Uber and Lift drivers. We also increased the hot water temperature. The tank is quite large, so I don't think it's a quantity problem, but hopefully that will be a feasible solution.

Kevin and Shannon moved to the Savannah area in 2021 and immediately fell in love with the ancient oaks, Spanish moss, friendly people and historic tales this city holds. Now they have a brand new carriage house so that they can share this amazing city with you!

Why they chose this property

This street is simply magical. It is one of the original brick-lined streets that has 200+ year old oaks on either side and meeting in the middle. Of course, the trees are dripping with Spanish moss to add to the feeling of stepping back in time.

What makes this property unique

This property not only has a beautiful location, but you are adjacent to the original home that was built in 1914. The corner lot allows the home owners a spacious courtyard as well as plenty of privacy for your carriage house experience. The best part is that while the carriage house is new, it is built to resemble the main house. It has 10' ceilings with tall windows and 8' exterior doors as well as a balcony that stretches the length of the carriage house.
