Well appointed and beautifully decorated. Stayed over the Christmas holidays and had everything we could have needed to make it a home away from home. We even were able to bake cookies and put up our own tree! We were the first ones to use this home so a few things were unfinished (like front room curtains) but owner was very communicative and made our stay as enjoyable as possible. Beautiful place to stay with a family with older kids and lots of space to spread out. Highly recommend!!

The unit was recently renovated with many upscale features. The location seemed quiet and safe with lovely tree lined streets. It's close to downtown Arlington Heights (1.3 miles).Dining room table, spacious and comfortable, seats 8. Small sectional in living room seats 5 comfortably but limited viewing for the TV. Kitchen includes plenty of flatware, dishes, glasses, serving utensils, and cookware, but limited storage containers and no ice, ice cube trays, or ice maker.Excellent spacious downstairs with huge couch by a large TV screen plus other sitting areas. Laundry room downstairs (might be locked). Downstairs is much colder than upstairs, great if you have people who want a colder space. Upstairs is advertised as 3 queen beds but one is a king. There is only 1 small bathroom upstairs, with tub and shower, no grab bars.For the six of us there were insufficient towel bars, wastebaskets, mirrors and places to put luggage and personal items. Also no privacy shades.There is no hot tub despite reference in the listing.There are plenty of linens and beds are of varying heights and softness. There is no welcome sheet with info so we had to keep messaging the host which took time. If issues mentioned above are corrected the space would work quite well for most groups. So check with the host.
