In the living area on the ground floor you can get through the hallway with the historic tiled floor into the kitchen, which opens into the living room. The large south-facing windows provide a view of the dike. Three sleeping areas and three bathrooms on the ground floor can accommodate up to six people. Upstairs there are three more bedrooms and two beautiful bathrooms, one with a bath and shower, in the dormer windows of the thatched roof.
Please note that open fires and fireworks are not allowed on the property due to the thatched roof. An electric grill is available for grilling.

Wir waren mit 8 Erwachsenen, 3 Teenagern und unserem Labrador hier. Das alte Bauernhaus ist liebevoll restauriert und modernisiert. Wir hatten allexgenug Platz und Labrador Leif viel Platz zum Tiben im herrlich großen Garten. Das Haus liegt direkt am Deich an der Elbe. Wir haben uns total wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!
Viel Platz in liebevoll restauriertem Fachwerkhaus
Das Haus ist sehr groß und kann mit 6 Zimmern und 5 Bädern überzeugen. Trotz denkmalgeschützter Außenansicht ist innen alles modern. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was benötigt wird.
Die Lage direkt am Deich ist überwältigend. Zu dieser Jahreszeit ließen sich Hunderte Gänse nieder zwischen Rehen und anderem Getier.
Kleine Einschränkung: Das Zimmer über dem Keller ist wegen des feuchten Stock-/Schimmelgeruchs nicht nutzbar.

Das Zimmer über dem Keller wurde bisher immer genutzt, hat aber wegen des verarbeiteten frischen Holzes einen besonderen Geruch, den der Gast leider nicht möchte. Es handelt sich also nicht um einen Feucht-/Schimmelgeruch. Es ist im übrigen die erste Nachricht, die wir dazu erhalten.
Die ruhige Lage und das sehr schön eingerichtete Haus hat uns sehr gefallen. Es war nicht schwer den manchmal nicht zu einfachen Alltag hinter sich zu lassen und zur Ruhe zu kommen.
