Troadkasten with sauna at 1700m; Falkert hut "Beim Almöhi"

Here you can enjoy a piece of alpine alpine culture - in this traditional granary, the Troadkasten, on the edge of the Heidi Alm mountain resort at 1,700 m above sea level.

The Troadkasten is located in the middle of the nature of the Nockberge am Falkert biosphere park and invites you to relax.

The granary offers you a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower, toilet and underfloor heating, a bedroom with a double bed 180x200 and a bedroom with a double bed 140x200 upstairs - 2 additional beds possible in the sofa area, a living room with a crackling stove fire in the wood stove and a cozy TV area.

A special highlight of the Troad box is the in-house stone pine sauna (steam bath also possible). If you would like to be pampered with a massage or cosmetic treatment, you can make an appointment at the Heidi Hotel.

On the 785 m2 plot on the south-facing slope there is a stream, a rustic seating area with a grill and deck chairs that invite you to linger. If necessary, bring charcoal with you.

It is a non-smoking hut and pets are not allowed in the hut.

Bed linen and towels are to be brought along.

You are welcome to use the breakfast service of the Kärntnerhaus restaurant:
Bread rolls, croissants, jams, milk, ... are delivered directly to the hut door.
In the area you can take wonderful hikes and mountain bike tours. Children can have fun at the nearby Heidi Alm. In summer you can also go fishing, learn to ride and ski in winter.
If you want to be pampered with a massage or cosmetics, you can make an appointment at the Heidi Hotel.
You can find information on the varied leisure activities at Falkert and the surrounding area in our information folder in the hut and in the tourist office in the Heidi Hotel (Falkertsee 2).
Various Carinthian bathing lakes can be reached by car in ½ hour to one hour.
Have you ever heard of the "Kärnten Card"? With this card you can get to know all of Carinthia and its sights at a reasonable price. The Kärnten Card can be purchased at the tourist office in the Heidi Hotel.
