This little pied-à-terre in the West Village is the perfect launching pad for a stay in NYC. It is beautifully appointed with any amenity you might need. While cozy at 400 sq. ft., it was done thoughtfully and with great taste. There are amazing restaurants, gourmet delis, and a beautiful park for people watching within a three-block radius of the apartment. Our host was perfectly communicative and supportive with any need we had. Make this your NYC home away from home.
Great location with easy access to subway and areas I needed to visit. Host was super communicative and responded rapidly to requests for information. Space was perfect for my needs and very clean.
Really sweet apartment in a great location. Everything was very clean and it was a nice quiet little unit. Owners are great! Very responsive and helpful.
Understanding how to get the key from a lock box was rather confusing since we don't live in a city and were unfamiliar with the concept. Also the main door to enter the building was very difficult to get unlocked and at times we weren't sure whether we would gain entry. Other than these 2 hiccups we really appreciated our host allowing us extra time to check in and exit the rental and all communications were answered promptly....
If you want to live like a real New Yorker, skip the hotels. The unit is super clean, even cuter than the description, and it has everything you'll need. I experienced a slight hiccup upon check-in, but the host remedied it within minutes and was very responsive throughout my entire stay. The little patio is HUGE by NY standards, and serene. The unit is quiet, shower pressure fantastic, water is hot and bed is oh so comfy. The train station is a half block away, and there are bodegas, shops, and restaurants all around. Recommend heading over to Veniero's Bakery on 1st and 11th for some Italian goodies while you're in the neighborhood.
Really cozy apartment in East Village! The unit is super conveniently located with Trader Joe's, Target, other markets & delis, subway station, all just literally steps away. It's also fairly near Hertz, so we were able to return our car rental and walk back to the unit (maybe 20 minutes). We stayed during the snowy season and were delighted when the unit was already toasty the first night we arrived. The overall feel of the unit was slightly tight/narrow, but hey it's a unit in the middle of Manhattan! We fumbled a bit in getting into the building when we first arrived, which must've been a total fluke because there was No access problem after that. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed: couch, table/chairs, fridge (big!), microwave, fully equipped kitchenette, washer/dryer, etc. The shower had great water pressure, and we got really hot water (a must during the cold season!). The bed was really comfortable for us, just the right firmness, including the pillows. The host reached out to us from the beginning to the end; all communication was smooth and timely SO important in this kind of setup! We'd gladly stay here again if/when we're in Manhattan, thanks!!
