The place was exactly as listed, spotless, cozy, well stocked kitchen and perfectly situated near the water. We didn’t get to try out the kayaks this trip, but that just gives us a good excuse to return when it’s warmer!

The home had a nice appearance, was tidy and well stocked but it didn't work well for us because there is a distict smell of mold in the space. We also had problems with the toilet clogging twice while we were there. We cut our birthday trip short and didn't stay the second night thay we had paid for. We reached out to the host to announce our departure and our concerns but never heard back from them.

We want to be very clear that there is no mold in the property. The home is regularly maintained and inspected, and over 15 groups have stayed without any similar concerns. We also note that you requested fragrance-free detergents before your stay, which indicates a sensitivity to scents. It’s likely that the smell you noticed was related to normal household cleaning products or natural scents, not mold. We’re glad you found the home tidy and well stocked. We did not receive your message regarding your early departure, and we apologize if there was any confusion in communication.
