About the host
Hosted by DJ Fishman
I've lived in Bremerton my whole life and I love it here because of the beautiful scenery. My husband has lived here his entire adult life and he enjoys the mountains, ocean views and trees in the area, especially while riding his Goldwing. We have two older kids attending Olympic College, an autistic child and a toddler. Our 4 kids and 2 pets keep us busy in between hosting guests downstairs and running our small businesses. I'm a licensed massage therapist and I practice in my home office, located in the black glass door between the garage doors of the house. I also enjoy crafts and various projects of all kinds, which I regularly rope my husband into helping with.
Why they chose this property
We chose this location for our dream home because it's located in East Bremerton where I grew up and because we believe it has the best view in all of Kitsap County. The serene driveway with trees on both sides and the long mossy retaining wall are among our favorite parts of our location. This gives a very private, forest vibe while still being extremely close to stores, busses, ferries, and everything in Bremerton and Silverdale. We feel like it's the best of both worlds.
What makes this property unique
Unlike most homes that were build years ago, we had the opportunity to plan our home and property with our exact specifications and customize it for the unique hillside location we live on. Our plan was always to have an additional separate unit of the house so we could share this enchanting place with others. We've tried to include every amenity possible to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The two main bedrooms were designed to have closets facing each other to provide more privacy between them. We also completely finished and sealed the room under the stairs with a twin size bed, games and books for a magical and fun experience for any kid (or adult, really).
