About this property

TWIN CHALETS, Riverfront w/ 2 Pools, 2 Hot Tubs, Sauna, EV Chargers, AMAZ Views

Experience the ultimate group retreat with the Twin Chalets, two adjacent riverfront cabins. Together they offer 12 bedrooms, designer interiors, extraordinary outdoor amenities, river access, and breathtaking views. The interconnected outdoor terraces create a seamless shared gathering space that offers two heated pools, two hot tubs, fire features, and a panoramic sauna. Ideally located halfway between Luray and Massanutten, it is perfect for reunions, retreats, and celebrations.

Chalet Blanc and Chalet Noir together create a rare, private riverfront estate designed for large group stays, offering two adjacent luxury cabins perched high above the Shenandoah River. Ideal for reunions, retreats, and multi-family gatherings, the combined property delivers exceptional space and shared outdoor living across both homes.

The side-by-side homes are set in a quiet rural neighborhood surrounded by farmland, wooded landscapes, and long-range mountain views. Both are accessed via a well-maintained gravel road for the final 0.7 mile. Chalet Blanc is bordered by a neighboring home with privacy fencing and mature trees and shrubs providing separation, while Chalet Noir adjoins a vacant wooded lot, enhancing the sense of privacy and seclusion.

Together, the estate offers 12 bedrooms and multiple expansive living areas across both homes, featuring professionally designed interiors, fully equipped kitchens, gaming areas, and a mix of indoor and outdoor dining and gathering spaces designed for large groups.

Outdoor living is the defining feature of the estate. Across both homes, guests enjoy spacious covered decks with ample dining furnishings and propane grills, interconnected terraces, and multiple lounge areas designed for large gatherings. Set approximately 80 feet above the river, the terraces offer sweeping Blue Ridge Mountain views. Complemented by the soothing sounds of the Shenandoah River below, they provide an idyllic setting for relaxation, conversation, and shared celebrations. The estate features two private heated plunge/cocktail pools (each 20' × 8'), two hot tubs, two lighted pergolas with propane fire pit tables and lounge seating, and a bubble-windowed barrel sauna positioned along a retaining wall with panoramic river and mountain views. From the terraces, guests can follow the steps and trail down the bluff to the river, where a riverside platform and small beach area offer space for shore fishing or relaxing by the water. Wood-burning fire pits near the river provide quiet evening gathering spots under the stars. Together, these outdoor amenities and the serene river setting create an experience that is truly unmatched in the region.

The main level of each home includes four bedrooms and 2.5 baths. On one side, two king bedrooms share a spacious, master-style bathroom. On the opposite side of the main living area, a queen bedroom and a double-twin bedroom are connected by a Jack-and-Jill bathroom, with each bedroom featuring a private vanity area. The lower level of each home opens directly onto the terrace and adds even more comfort and entertainment, offering two additional bedrooms and a full bathroom, bringing each home to a total of six bedrooms and 3.5 baths. This level includes another king bedroom and a bunk room with two twin bunk beds (four twin mattresses), both served by a hallway full bath that also opens to the gaming area. Across both homes, the estate offers a total of 12 bedrooms (six kings, two queens, two double twins, and two double bunks for a total of 20 beds), six full baths, and two half baths. Together, the layout provides abundant and flexible sleeping arrangements, while still preserving comfort and privacy for large group stays.

An on-site EV charger is available at each cabin for guest convenience, and an enterprise-level Wi-Fi network provides fast, reliable internet throughout the indoor and outdoor spaces. Chalet Blanc and Chalet Noir are ideally situated halfway between Massanutten and Luray and are just a short drive from local restaurants, shopping, wineries, hiking trails, Luray Caverns, Skyline Drive, and the following points of interest:

Hello and Welcome! As a former Virginia resident, it was hard not to fall in love with the beauty and serenity of Shenandoah. I currently live in California with my husband and my teenage son. We enjoy hiking and relaxing by water.

Why they chose this property

It's an ideal setup: luxury blended with nature. Waking up to the soft sounds of water flowing, while sipping coffee. The warm morning sun would peek through the Blue Ridge Mountain and spilling across the large deck and into the living room through the huge panoramic windows. It's dreamy yet very real!

What makes this property unique

The two contrasting Chalets are ideal for large group of friends, a wellness retreat, or multigenerational family gatherings to celebrate or to mark a milestone. The properties have EV chargers, heated pools, hot tubs, fireplaces, and lots of games to keep everyone busy. Finally, they feature fully equipped kitchens to cook elaborate meals, multiple seating areas for conversations, and comfortable beds for restful sleep.
