Welcome to La Casa Verde, a private, pet-friendly home where you can relax in a lush, tropical paradise located at the quiet end of a cul-de-sac with two canals surrounding the backyard. At the same time you are only 1 block from Siesta Key Village and minutes away from the island's famous Siesta Key Beach, known for its powdery white sand and crystalline waters. Explore the vibrant village, with its eclectic mix of shops, restaurants and live entertainment. Whether you're looking to soak up the sun on the beach, stroll through the village or enjoy a quiet day by the canal and heated pool, this home offers the perfect balance of convenience and peace.

La Casa Verde provides a spacious, open floor plan with multiple areas for your family and friends to gather, all within sight of the pool and canal through a wall of glass doors. The fully equipped kitchen and dining area make it easy to prepare and enjoy meals together.

With four cozy bedrooms guests find plenty of room to relax. The hallway off the kitchen leads to a bathroom and two bedrooms, each with a queen bed. The first floor bathroom is barrier free with a large, walk-in shower and comfort height commode, both with grab bars for the mobility challenged. The vanity has twin sinks and there is a deep, soaking bathtub, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. Upstairs the primary bedroom features a king bed and the loft bedroom has 3 twin beds. Both of these bedrooms have doors to the bathroom with a large, walk-in shower, twin basin vanity, and private commode. In an upstairs closet you'll find a Pack 'N Play for infants and a baby gate for the bottom of the stairs if needed.

Families enjoy the canal front location by renting kayaks and paddle boards to explore the calm water and easy access to the Intracoastal Waterway from our dock. Or enjoy passing the time waving at the occasional boat and watching for manatees and jumping fish. The backyard is fenced in except along the canal.

As our guest, you'll have access to 3 adult bicycles, beach chairs, cooler, umbrella, towels, toys and a wagon for transporting these to the beach. Inside you'll find an array of books and board games to enhance your stay.

Our peaceful retreat will keep you comfortable year-round with air conditioning or heating. Whether you’re gathering for a multigenerational family visit or enjoying quiet time, you will feel right at home as your family builds lasting memories.

Note: the months of February and March are saved for monthly rentals. If you are interested in booking a date not yet open on the calendar, message me regarding availability.

This place truly feels like a slice of heaven! We’ve stayed beachfront in Siesta Key before, but this spot easily tops our past experiences. Just a short one-block walk from the Village, you can seamlessly trade the lively music and energy for the calming sounds of birds singing and fish jumping—it’s the perfect balance.There’s so much space to both spread out and come together, and we made the most of every inch—relaxing poolside, unwinding on the screened porch, and gathering around the table for meals. We were pleasantly surprised to discover even more space than what was shown in the photos. Every night, we slept incredibly well and woke up refreshed for another beach day.This place is an absolute gem—book it with confidence!

Do not hesitate to book this rental! It is the ultimate gem: a comfortable, clean, beautiful vacation stay within walking distance to everything- without the hassle of finding parking in town. You’re on vacation from the get go! The backyard pool on the corner of the canals is gorgeous and the covered outside lanai living room quiet, the bathrooms are spacious and clean. The bedrooms and loft area have ample closets and dressers. It is just our favorite rental and no one wanted to leave. Communication with the host was responsive and friendly. Thank you for such a wonderful stay- we will be back :)

The house and pool are amazing. The location is so close to the main strip. The beach is within walking distance. The garage was full of beach items: wagon, beach chairs, beach toys, and almost anything else you needed for the beach. We had a few questions and the owners got back to us almost immediately. We would definitely recommend this house and we will definitely come back on another vacation here! Loved this place!

My husband and I are from the Midwest and we wanted a getaway in a warm, sunny location by the sea where we could make memories with our family and friends. Our philosophy is "Mi Casa es Su Casa".

Why they chose this property

We love the location because while we're at the quiet end of a cul-de-sac, we are only 1 block to the Village with restaurants, groceries, music and shopping. And it is just a 12 minute walk to the beach. A car isn't necessary. The free Breeze Trolley has stops in the Village and circles the entire island.

What makes this property unique

We fell in love with La Casa Verde as soon as we opened the front door and looked through the back wall of glass doors onto the pool and canal. The tropical landscaping that surrounds the property makes it feel very private. The mid-century modern open floor plan with vaulted ceiling feels spacious and provides many areas for family and friends to gather.
