Absolutely beautiful, comfortable room with a porch view of the river. The owner was so warm and welcoming. The hot breakfast basket delivered each morning was AMAZING! The view was so relaxing.
Room was decorated with a very cozy mallard theme that went well with the scenery. The property was neat and well maintained and the view from the dock was breath-taking especially at night. I had a glass of wine by the fire and just listened to the bull frogs, it was the most calm and serene atmosphere. I will be back very soon!
Great place to stay quiet and beautiful view and sunsets every morning. Nice welcome gift and hot breakfest in the morning. Worth the small drive through the base of the mountain. And affordable We stay at alot of Vrbos on our travels and this was the best one by far. Thank you for having us
The views were phenomenal, the room was cozy & clean! Breakfast was delivered hot in a cute picnic basket and was delicious! Highly recommend and will stay again if the need arises. Host was in constant contact checking in to see if I needed anything.
On a long curvy road from either way. We don't mind driving and it was beautiful scenery, but if you want to be close to restaurants and things then this isn't the place for you. Very clean, quiet (we never heard any neighbors) and the free breakfast is a nice touch!
The property is in a beautiful location, with a very nice and comfortable room. The property managers were great. We were received our first night with homemade cookies, and with a warm homemade breakfast every morning. We woke up to the sunrise over the hills at the Tennessee River in the mornings and sat at the dock to watch the sunsets in the evenings. An overall wonderful experience.

Nice get-away on the river
We liked that the B&B was right on the river. Loved the delicious breakfast delivered to our door every morning. Our room had everything we needed, plus a cute porch. The Hosts were welcoming and accommodating. It is off the beaten path--that's it's charm. We made sure to stop for our wine and food before leaving the main road (both a well stocked liquor store and grocery store are right before the turn-off.) Our only regret--that we didn't stay longer.
Beautiful Million dollar view. Peaceful and Relaxing.
Susan and Jerry were the.most amazing hosts. The made us feel at home, easy directions and extremely simple check in and check out process. Highly recommend this VRBO, you will not be disappointed. Your right on the river!
Amazing view, delicious hot breakfast and warmth welcome.
It was a daughter and mom getaway trip to Chattanooga, TN. On our way to this place you will see lots of trails, kayak, fishing area, river and mountain views. Susan's place have an amazing heaven views and clean Suite. Me and my mom enjoyed our stay for 4 days and 3 nights stay. We couldn't resist to take selfies in their boat dock. Every morning when we wake up, it was an absolute relaxing view infront of our Suite. My dream came true for my mom to see the mountains and river since we live in Florida .
We had a delicious hot breakfast made by Susan every morning. I highly recommend this place. Don't forget to stop by Walmart if you need to buy some stuff. It's a 45 mins drive to Ruby Falls, Rock City, and Inclined train , you will enjoy your view on your way in and out.
For our first time to Chattanooga, this was a great place to stay - nearish to Chattanooga (and I only say this because it was a bit of a drive to get to as we wound around the river to get to the B&B) and right on the river, with an amazing view of the hills..so peaceful and serene. Susan and Jerry were extremely hospitable. That morning breakfast basket was A-MAZING - hot breakfast sandwiches and warm baked goods. The room was a perfect size for us. I would highly recommend staying here.
Susan was a lovely host and the suite was exactly as described. Sitting on the dock and looking at the river was refreshing for the soul.
Kayak and canoe rentals are available at several places and while the drive in to the property is meandering, it's beautiful. The road is in very good repair but is lake front access road: so it's up and down and curvy and match the terrain.
We came down for our friends wedding and decided to come a little early and enjoy Tennessee. We got there late but the next morning after waking up we looked out and the view was amazing! Susan and Jerry provide a delicious breakfast each morning as well. They were super sweet and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We can’t wait to go back some day!
Great property on the river, the room was clean and well decorated and the basket of delicious goodies for breakfast. Everything about this rental was outstanding except the 30 minute drive in and out on a long pothole ridden road.
The hosts Susan and Jerry were the best! The room and view were perfect. Loved sitting on the porch just looking out on the river. The morning breakfast basket was so yummy! I’ll be back
My husband and I needed some much needed R&R and The Mallard Room here was more than what we expected. When we walked in our room it was so welcoming and absolutely beautiful. The property was very clean and the views of the river and mountains were gorgeous and breathtaking. It was very quiet which is what we wanted and simply relaxing. Susan was amazing and her homemade cooking reminded me of my grandmas. Everything was always hot, very delicious and plentiful. If I could give more than 5 stars I would and both my husband and I agreed that this little oasis is definitely one for the books and we will continue to go back. Thank you so much Susan for having us and we can’t wait for our next adventure there.
We had a awesome honeymoon here! It is a absolutely a beautiful place to stay. The views are amazing!! Susan responds almost immediately if u need anything at all! Make sure u bring ur fishing pole if you love to fish. Breakfast they bring every morning and leave at ur door is awesome and the baked goods she leaves are even better than that!! We can’t wait to be able to go back again!!
