Spacious 6-bedroom house on Cayuga Lake in the heart of the Finger Lakes!

Silver Strand is my family's historic home that sits half way up Cayuga Lake in Sheldrake. The lake view is what makes this house so special. Almost every room looks out at 20 miles of open water. Relax on the property, which features a large wrap-around porch, long beach and dock and a big lawn. Or, explore the local area, which consists of the Cayuga Lake and Seneca Lake wine trails and many great hikes through gorges with beautiful waterfalls.

The house has six bedrooms, seven baths and plenty of room to breathe. Five rooms feature queen beds, private baths and balconies made for unwinding. Endless lake views from your own private perch, guaranteed.

The kitchen? Chef-approved - open, bright and leads straight to a patio with a grill. A ten-seat dining room keeps everyone gathered, and the cozy living room with a large screen TV keeps movie nights and game days easy.

Large wrap-around porch with multiple seating areas for happy hour, eating or just relaxation. The hammock is my favorite place to read or take a nap.

100 ft of beach front and 100 ft long dock provides ample room to swim, use your water toys, fish, lay out on the second story deck, sit with a bottle of wine enjoying sunset, or snuggle up and star gaze.

Guests have exclusive use of the entire property with the exception of the garage on the side of the property and the dock, which is also used as the start and end point for our family's Water to Wine boat tour business (highly recommended activity).

Make sure you contact me if you have special requests or questions regarding the number of guests who plan to stay. Accommodations are best for 11 however, for an extra fee per extra guest, there is some flexibility.
