I would strongly recommend not renting a property from this management group.We went on a last minute trip and booked a house with this host 2 days before our scheduled check in. Host called hours before our check-in and stated the house was double booked and blamed me for booking 2 days prior. Host then deflected to VRBO claiming their calendar was experiencing issues. My guess which is purely a guess is the management group is listing their houses on other sites and their own and forgot to block off VRBO for the week we reserved. Furthermore, they were not helpful with a solution for the problem they created. We spent time while finishing our drive to the are on with VRBO Support to figure out new accommodations but management group was completely unprofessional. Our scheduled check-in was 2/15 and we've yet to be refunded our full payment from Palm State Property group. I've reached out to VRBO who claims the refund has to be initiated by the management group since it is their payment processor. Management group has not responded to my emails, messages on VRBO other than a message on 2/18 which claims they initiated the refund and it could take up to 15 days, of which today is day 15. **Edit: after posting this, management group finally responded to my email that they have initiated the refund today, 18 days from our scheduled check in day and 15 days from when they claimed they initiated it previously. Very unprofessional.
