About this property
Meridian Suite at North Star Lodge • HotTub • View
The Meridian Suite at North Star Lodge is a calming place to land after big Alaska days in one of Anchorage’s most central neighborhoods. Named for the meridian lines that guide travelers and for Benny Benson’s Alaska flag, where the Big Dipper and North Star symbolize direction and belonging, the suite offers space to cook, unwind, and rest. Outside, a shared hot tub waits beneath the same sky and guiding stars that inspired the name.
The Space
Inside, there is room to settle in, cook real meals, gather for movie nights, or retreat to quiet bedrooms. The primary king suite opens to a private balcony with mountain views and crisp morning air. Two additional bedrooms each offer full-over-twin bunks ideal for families or groups. The living, dining, and kitchen areas flow naturally together, creating an easy space for shared time without feeling crowded. Outside, a shared hot tub waits beneath Anchorage’s wide sky for evenings spent unwinding after trail miles, glacier winds, or city adventures.
Layout and sleeping details
This home has three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms and sleeps up to eight people comfortably. The primary bedroom includes a king bed, an en suite bathroom, and a private balcony with mountain views. The two additional bedrooms each feature a bunk bed with a full mattress on the bottom and a twin mattress on top which works well for children teens or adults who prefer separate sleeping spaces. The living room, dining room, and kitchen are designed for shared time without feeling crowded. We've designed all of the common spaces to accommodate all 8 guests comfortably.
