This house was so charming and perfect for us! We were in town for a reunion and this house had everything we needed. The inside was beautiful with antique furniture and details. Lovely front porch to lounge on with rocking chairs and a porch swing. Plenty of dishes, utensils, etc. Would definitely stay again!

The problem we had was with the upstairs bathroom. The toilet was not clean. It had hair on the rim when we lifted the seat as well as a pee stain. The bowl was also dirty. Once we cleaned it, and used it, the toilet overflowed and spilled onto rugs.

I wished I knew this at the time. I would have sent someone there to make it right. I apologize you had to do that. That is not the norm for my home. I will speak with the cleaner so it doesn't happen again! Thank you for letting me know.

We grew up in Wheeling and needed a place to stay for a family reunion. This house worked well for 5 of us. It is a quaint victorian style house in a quiet little neighborhood. The wood work is beautiful and the house is cozy, we loved the front porch! The host answers messages promptly. We do have to say that the house could use a deep clean. The baseboards need dusted and some vacuuming needs done. The stove was not clean, but luckily we didn't need to use it. Also the listing says 2 king beds, those beds were definitely not kings. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
