Waterfront Cottage in Clay Township - Sleeps 5

Relax with the entire family at this peaceful place to stay. Our fully furnished family cottage was just freshly renovated in 2025! Thoughtfully updated with modern comforts while keeping a charming cottage feel. Wake up to gentle water views of Lake St. Clair and unwind each evening with breathtaking sunsets. This peaceful retreat is the perfect location for fishing, boating, kayaking, jet skiing, tubing, swimming, bird hunting, and more!

The master bedroom includes a queen bed that looks out towards the waterfront. The additional bedroom includes 3 twin beds. The living room has a full size sofa and two recliners, a TV, electric fireplace, and games provided! The kitchen has a full size fridge and freezer, washer-and-dryer-in-one, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, blender, and a wide variety of utensils, pots, pans, etc.

There is a fish cleaning table on the back patio - please do not clean fish inside!
Public boat launch access 0.2 miles down the road!
Two kayaks and one paddleboard available for use on site. Life vests on site. Summer use only.
Fire pit in backyard, firewood not provided. Sold at corner store down the road.
There is a black stone grill on the back patio available for use. Propane provided. Not available during winter months.

Free WI-FI. Air conditioning and heating unit installed. No pets allowed! No smoking or vaping! No events allowed.

We stayed over the July 4th weekend and had a great time ! Jody, the host was very friendly accommodating and responded to messages pretty quickly . The house was nice and very clean .We had our tritoon boat and had a spot to tie off in back which worked perfectly . The water was deep enough for us and the location was close to all the things we planned to to. Great place !

This home is 10 out of 10, our family will definitely come stay again. The small coastal feel from the decor in the home, neighborhood and even the town makes even a quick out of town trip very relaxing. The home is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. We had the privilege of meeting our host and they are spectacular if there is anything needed they were willing to assist. Definitely check out the Clay Diner for breakfast and Fins for a fantastic seafood dinner. Who knew some ole buckeyes would actually love anything from that state up north.

We had a wonderful time staying at the cottage on Lake St. Clair. It is nicely furnished and has a great view of the lake. If you are looking for a place to stay on the lake, I highly recommend you staying here.
