Welcome to the Salt Lake Cabana—a modern retreat with Spanish-inspired finishes! Recently remodeled with an oasis of a backyard that includes: a private hot tub, outdoor dining, a steel fireplace, and plenty of seating.
Enjoy gated parking, an electric fireplace inside, a large dining table, and a dedicated workspace.
Fully fenced for privacy! Bring your pet too: (SEE PET RULES AND FEES BELOW). Come relax and unwind in style at the SLC Cabana.

This cozy sanctuary boasts 2 full bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, a gated driveway, a fully fenced backyard with a hot tub and SO much more. With lightning-fiber Wi-Fi and a work-from-home space, there is no better place to work throughout the day and enjoy the backyard after work. I put my heart and soul into this house transforming it from one of the most run-down in the area to its current condition.

1. The driveway is completely gated with a roll gate NOT AUTOMATED. It does take a little bit of some muscle to move it but I have tried to make it as smooth as possible

4. The backyard is all graveled and the front yard does have grass.
There is enough parking on the driveway for 4 vehicles !!

Pet Fees-
MY pet fees are different than the standard Airbnb platform pet fees. Airbnb does not allow me to do a nightly rate for the pet fee, they only for the entire stay. The PET fee is not included in the booking. As a pet owner myself, I don`t like getting charged high pet fees for short stays, that is why I created my own separate per-night pet fee to be added after booking. I am also willing to be reasonable on the pet fee for longer stays. Ultimately I am not trying to be sneaky about the pet fees but I want to try to make the fees fair for all guests with pets who come for short stays or for long so please message me and see if we can make your pet fee work with your budget.
I allow (4) pets! You must agree to $25/night per pet fee, added to the booking total after booking (Please inquire about the pet fees for longer stays). Please also agree to a Zero impact pet policy (meaning there will be no sign a pet was onsite upon departure, you don’t allow pets on furniture). You accept full liability for your pets.
You have access to the entire property. No space is shared. there is a separate driveway to the left of the property that leads to an empty lot behind the house. this lot is owned by me and used for storage.
I do park a few trailers and my airstream on this lot
I give my guests space but am available if needed.
**NOTE** - During my time here , a developer purchased a HUGE lot across the street and boarded up one of the homes on the lot that will be demoed. They are planning on building a large townhome development here. Right now they are still in the planning stages and have not broke ground.
I lived in this home for about two years while fixing it up over those years. It is in more of an industrial and commercial location in south salt lake so it is not your typical neighborhood. I like to see this as an oasis in the hustle and bustle industrial area :).
With it being more industrial and multi family building area, there are apartments in the rear of the property. The house has an empty lot that I own behind the house so the apartments , although tall, are set back a bit from the house.
Those who work in the area will come earlier in the morning for work, get what they need, and go off to their jobs ! They end their day earlier than most with alot of the nearby businesses being trades related. Even with the more of an industrial feel, the house still has other homes surrounding it, is set back from the street, and is fully gated/ fenced. Although the street isn’t particularly busy, during parts of the day you can hear some roofers and plumbers driving by to go get supplies for their jobs. The noise definitely subsides as the day goes on and ultimately at night the house is quite peaceful, with the exception of someone driving to their home in the street or the apartment buildings at the end of the street. With this in mind both bedrooms are equipped with white noise machines to help drown things out. I loved living here and seeing this house undergo the transformation it did and I truly hope you appreciate it as well. Please reach out if you have any questions .
Uber and Lyft are readily available and the the 3300 Trax Station is about 5-10 minutes walk away

For your safety and peace of mind, this property is equipped with advanced meth detection sensors. These devices monitor the air for even the slightest trace of methamphetamine and will immediately alert me if any is detected. This system is in place to ensure a clean, healthy, and safe environment for all guests. I’m committed to providing meth-free housing so you can feel confident and comfortable during your stay.
Utah has a high desert climate and as such there are house ants, occasional harmless spiders, or Box Elder bugs that are usually seen more during seasonal changes such as going from winter to spring or vice versa. As responsible hosts, we have agreed to a pest control contract with Uintah Pest Control to service all our properties. Sightings are rare but are possible. An occasional sighting is not considered a reflection of the cleanliness of the property.
1) LOCALS MUST MESSAGE US BEFORE BOOKING. NO EXCEPTIONS!
2) Occupancy limits: Please make sure to message your host if you are having over 4 guests or people who will be visiting. Each guest must be on the reservation
3) Fees: There is a $200 per day fee for every day of your booking if it is found that you have been smoking on the property.
There is a $50 LATE CHECKOUT/EARLY ARRIVAL FEE if you are there longer or arrive earlier than you have been authorized causing the cleaner to have to wait for you or be rushed. I care about my cleaners very much and their time is valuable :)
Enjoy the firepit but be sure to keep it clean after use and extinguish your fire!

b) Food & Beverages: Do not bring food or drinks into the hot tub to avoid spills and contamination.
c) Supervision: Use of the hot tub is at your own risk. Any person under 18 must be accompanied by a sober, responsible adult at all times.
