Welcome to Hesse, Germany’s most forested state 😀<br>Our guesthouse is a converted hall with an area of 160 m²; the season runs from spring through fall. <br>Our guests can expect a rustic interior with a leather seating area, a bar area, and a dining table for 8 to 10 people. There are 2 bedrooms (Room 1: 2 single beds; Room 2: 2 single beds with 2 rollaway beds). The loft is designed to sleep 2 people (140 cm futon). There is a fully equipped kitchen area (refrigerator/freezer combo, additional refrigerator, electric stove, complete kitchenware) as well as a bathroom area with 2 toilets, 2 showers, and 2 sinks. <br>A pool table, foosball table, darts, and a private bar provide plenty of fun and variety. A TV is available (a projector and a 2-meter screen create a home theatre atmosphere), and you can connect your own equipment via an HDMI cable. A stereo system with a CD collection is also available. The spacious garden is perfect for barbecuing and relaxing.<br><br>The following fees are not included in the booking amount and will be charged on-site:<br>- Cleaning fee of 60.00€ per stay<br>- Electricity based on consumption: 0.40€/kWh<br>Note:<br>At the beginning and end of each season, you should expect slightly higher electricity consumption. The ventilation system (pellet heating) is powered by electricity.<br>Update: <br>Starting at 01.01.2026, the municipality of Frielendorf charges a tourism fee of €1.30 per day per person (ages 10 and up). The fee must be paid on site and will be remitted to the municipality by us as the landlord.<br><br>Leimsfeld is a district of the municipality of Frielendorf and is located approximately 50 km east of Marburg in the northern Knüll Mountains. The unique natural landscape is perfect for motorcycle or bike tours, hikes, and city trips. Nearby attractions include Lake Eder with its dam (40 km), Marburg with its historic old town (50 km), and the Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe World Heritage Site (45 km).
