With a small sandy beach, large sunbathing lawn and a jetty for pedal boats, the Silbersee invites you to adventure, fun and relaxation. You will stay in an idyllic and quiet 75 m² holiday park on the Silbersee in a modern house.
The holiday home has 3 levels, on the ground floor you will find the living/dining area with fireplace, TV-SAT system, radio and a dining area. The open-plan kitchen on the upper floor is equipped with dishwasher, cooker, oven, toaster, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, hand mixer, sufficient pots and cooking utensils, fridge with freezer compartment and sufficient crockery.
One bedroom on the 1st floor with wardrobe (a double bedroom with separate WC and washbasin, an extra shower with separate WC), on the 2nd floor a double bedroom and a bedroom with two single beds. Both have access to the balcony.
Unfortunately not suitable for wheelchair users.
There is a seating area in front of the house and a barbecue is available.
The holiday park is a car-free zone, so that your children can move around safely. In the holiday park: restaurant, sauna, solarium, bowling alley (all extra). Swimming bay (DLRG in summer). In case of bad weather, "Frielo-Land" is available to all children (extra). New: From 7 Nov. 2009 "Wellnessparadies am Silbersee" is open with sauna, swimming pool, beauty etc. The holiday home is located in a pure holiday park in the beautiful Kurhessische-Bergland, the home of the Brothers Grimm. The holiday park is located directly on one of the cleanest lakes in Hesse. Motor vehicles are only allowed to drive onto the holiday park to a limited extent, it is only permitted to drive up to the holiday home for loading and/or unloading. However, there are plenty of parking spaces available for your vehicle in the park.
A high chair and a travel cot are available on request.
The holiday home is located in the Silbersee holiday park, in the middle of Germany, only 40 minutes by car south of Kassel. Via the A 7 motorway, exit Homberg (Efze), continue on the B 323 and the B 254 to the Frielendorf Nord exit and you will reach the holiday village after 1 km, which is located on the approx. 10,000 m² bathing lake. The holiday village is surrounded by extensive forests, which are ideal for hiking and mountain biking. The park offers a range of leisure activities such as a modern climbing park, a large indoor play paradise, a wellness paradise (indoor pool), miniature railway, all-weather toboggan run, petting zoo, archery, minigolf, skating and bowls, football, tennis and basketball courts, adventure playgrounds and much more.
Shopping facilities can be found in the village shop and in Frielendorf (1.5 km). There are many excursion destinations in the surrounding area. The district town of Homberg/Efze with its castle and historic old town (approx. 10 km), the Knüll wildlife park (approx. 10 km), Schwalmstadt with its historic and fortified old town centres (approx. 12 km), surfing and diving at Singliser See (approx. 12 km), the Borken Mining Museum (approx. 15 km), the Kellerwald Nature Park (approx. 25-30 km), Kassel, the city of the Documenta and Hessentag 2013 (approx. 50 km), or the Edersee at the Edertalsperre (approx. 60 km).

Sehr liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtet, super ausgestattet, sogar Holz für ein Kaminfeuer lag bereit. Alles tip-top gepflegt und sauber, kann man bedingungslos weiter empfehlen!
in primavera deve essere un posto meraviglioso, ciò non toglie che nonostante tutto mi sono fatta delle gran passeggiate lo stesso. bella la casa, un po' carente la pulizia, dato che il nostro gatto è uscito dal primo giretto pieno di ragnatele.

Das Haus war schön, sauber, und gut ausgestattet. Aber für 6 Personen sind Dusche, Toilette, Küche und Essecke zu klein.
Durch Holzbau ist jede Bewegung im OG und auf der Treppe so laut, dass nachts alle Bewohner wach werden. Terrasse und Grill sind im Sommer sehr gut.
Leider war im Park praktisch kein WLAN möglich, auch nicht gegen Aufpreis. Die Freizeitmöglichkeiten vor Ort und in der Umgebung sind schwach und teuer. Bobbahn und Badestrand am Silbersee sind gut.
Zusammen mit den Nebenkosten war die Unterkunft verhältnismäßig teuer. Alles hat extra gekostet. Die Eigentümer waren sehr nett und zuverlässig.
Trotzdem können wir das Feriendorf leider nicht weiterempfehlen, da wir schon mehrere bessere Plätze hatten.
