We recently stayed at this property and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, check-in and check-out were very easy and convenient. The home itself is spacious and well lit, which made it comfortable for our group. The host was responsive when we reached out, and we appreciated that pets are welcomed. There are, however, several areas where improvements could significantly enhance the guest experience. Cleanliness could be better, and the home overall could use some TLC and maintenance updates. The WiFi was not always reliable during our stay. The kitchen was somewhat under-equipped — additional hand and dishcloths, better-quality utensils, and a coffee maker would have been helpful (we had to bring our own). For safety and convenience, it would have been good to have a shovel and salt or sand available for the entrance. A welcome booklet with written instructions and general information about the home would also improve the experience. Clear instructions on how to adjust the heating overnight would have been especially helpful. We were able to manage and make everything work, but for families traveling with children or those accompanying aging parents, some of these issues could present challenges.Overall, while we appreciated certain aspects of the stay, we likely would not recommend this property to friends or family without some improvements being made.

I said here for 6 days and overall had a great stay and very close to the water! Check in was a little bit of a issue, I arrived at the property for the check in time however I was never given the code for the lockbox so I sat and waited in front of the home, I did eventually get in contact with the host about 2 hours after my check in and he gave me the code right awayThe property itself if beautiful, nice open concept, beautiful decorations, it could use a bit of fixing up in some places as paint is peeled in some places, the one master bedroom looks like maybe water damage in one of the ceilings and lots of cobwebs! The couch looked to be broken as it was being held up my some books! There was a massive puddle right at the bottom of the stairs going into the house (just that time of year when all snow is melting) but it did make it difficult to get in and out, I ended up making a little step with logs so I didn't have to climb around the puddle Property does say it has wifi, however I had so many issues trying to connect or it just not working, if your looking to do work while here or anything with the Internet then I would prepare yourself as it maybe worked for one day out of my 6 days there! I did message the host about it and he mentioned he would contact the Internet provider but didn't do much of a difference unfortunately However The host was very friendly, he responded pretty quick after the first day and he even gave me a late checkout!!

We are two couples; stayed at this house and the experience was wonderful! The place is airy and open. Enough space for everyone. There are two couch sections and two separate offices. We were able to lay down laptops and get some work done. Kitchen is fully stacked up for cooking. Dishwasher made a difference than out last cottage experience. The view is the golf course out back. The scenery is trees with snow. Quite nice! House is steps to the lake with the launch pad for kayaks. We enjoyed beautiful sunset on the dock. We look forward to come back in the summer to have the boating experience. Host is very kind with our late check out request.
