It was a a wonderful peaceful stay in a clean cabin with a stocked kitchen for cooking, washer/dryer, and a wonderful porch that we sat out in watching the geese fly in. Would stay again!

Room was clean except for the blanket on the bed. Directions to the area were fine but Google Maps had us turn into the property before. Once we turned into the correct property we did not know where to go since there was no mention in the description that we were looking for a cabin called Songbird. That would help to direct travelers quite a bit. Luckily the owner was right there to direct us. Updates to the cabin were super cute!

The best rental I've ever stayed in! Kathy's place is a serene, picture perfect haven where you can escape from the world, but still be close to amenities. You can see horses and mules just outside the back porch, wild geese, turkeys... and you'll be welcomed by birdsong in the morning. Kathy allowed us our privacy and the cabin is in a secluded spot, but she responded immediately to any messages or requests. You're just a few minutes from town with restaurants, grocery, and the beautiful Aztec national monument. The cabin had everything we needed and then some, and the dog-friendly fenced yard and washer/dryer were especially appreciated. If you're looking for a quiet, well-appointed place to relax and restore your soul, this is it.

The host was very quick to respond to any questions we had. The setting of the cabin/house was beautiful. The cabin was well equipped and well labeled. Sitting on the porch was great for bird watching.
