This cute and cozy one bedroom carriage house apartment is conveniently located in the walkable Virginia Highland neighborhood and an easy stroll to the Beltline, just 3 blocks away or an 8 minute walk. This well appointed 500 sq ft carriage house has everything you will need for a comfortable stay ~ a plush queen bed, fully stocked kitchen, smart TV, AC/heat, work area with desk, lamp, and fast & efficient WIFi! Welcome home and enjoy your stay! Includes amenities such as a hair dryer, iron/ ironing board, coffee station, full size refrigerator and all linens. All the screened windows open so this allows for natural light and fresh air which is always a nice welcome. Up the stairs you will find the loft style bedroom with a comfortable and plush queen size bed, a luggage rack, armoire and closet, a workstation and cozy chair for reading or relaxing. Enjoy a peaceful night's rest! St. Charles Avenue is a wide street and does not have permit parking so parking in front of the house is easy and not restricted. There is also an off street parking spot if you need it. Publix supermarket is 0.2 miles or a 5 minute walk from the carriage house; Traders Joes is 1 mile away, a 5 minute car ride or an 18 minute stroll; Whole Foods is 0.8 miles or a 15 minute walk so they are all very easily accessible and walkable. The apartment is located 13 miles north of Hartsfield Jackson International Airport.

I live in the Virginia Highland neighborhood as well with my husband and our two teenagers. I joined the Airbnb platform as a host in 2018 and very recently listed this property on VRBO as well. My career background is hospitality management so I thoroughly enjoy hosting and creating a space and home away from home for guests.

Why they chose this property

My husband and I previously lived in Midtown, Atlanta prior to moving to our home in Virginia Highland. We love being a part of a very walkable neighborhood, close to schools, parks, coffee shops, and a plethora of restaurants. We enjoy sharing in a community with like minded neighbors. Virginia Highland is that and so much more…from walking distance to Piedmont Park with festivals, the Beltline, to Ponce City Market which offers coffee shops, a food hall and shopping. Trader Joe’s, Kroger, Whole Foods and Publix supermarket are all within walking distance or less than 1/2 mile away.
