Beautiful huge home. Truly comfortable and spacious. The area is, however, one of the most crime ridden neighborhoods in DC. Abandoned home across street. A car window was smashed while we were there (not ours) I could never get my messages from the host. They go through a virbo hosting site and for whatever reason the messages never showed up. The house itself is awesome once you step inside. If I had known the condition of the neighborhood I would have never stayed there or else carried a weapon for protection. The National Guard are posted in the neighborhood. I was thankful for that except a vivid reminder of the neighborhood condition.
