About this property
Cozy, modern treehouse w/ WiFi & Smart Projector, outdoor shower & soak tub
Welcome to our beautiful treehouse perched among the old growth forest on our peaceful two-acre property. This cedar shake treehouse was built with the help of friends who formerly worked for Pete Nelson's Treehouse Workshop! The 150 sq. ft. space boasts big picture windows and a bright interior. A wonderful retreat that offers a cozy loft to curl up in bed among the trees. It sleeps two and is insulated, heated, and has electricity. Enjoy the Wi-Fi and 100" screen/projector.
***NEW***Ask us about our special "mycology immersion" add-on facilitated by owner Tim who was a former mycologist for the US Forest Service.
We recently added an outdoor soaking tub (hot or cold!). The treehouse consists of a main floor with a bathroom and a loft area with a queen bed that’s only accessible by a ladder.
On the main floor, there is a small kitchenette with a Keurig, microwave, hot water pot, and a small fridge. There’s an outdoor kitchen space with a small propane Weber grill, single burner camp stove, pots/pans, and a large crock of drinking water. There is a small bathroom with a composting toilet and pump sink complete with robes & sandals for your outdoor shower experience. There’s an outdoor shower space complete with a propane fed hot shower. The living space expands to the wrap-around deck where there is a propane fire pit to warm up by. Gaze up at the towering trees above you and enjoy the view.
With the Mycology Immersion add-on, you will gain insight into the fascinating world of mushrooms and enjoy delicious mushroom treats & charcuterie. You will have access to a rare & extensive mycology library with guided readings. Included with the add-on is a relaxing sauna experience with mycology audio session, discussions about mushrooms and their importance in our world, viewing of recommended mushroom films on the treehouse projector. Light breakfast provided and more! Additional fee of $300 required for this add-on that will be collected after check-in.

You will have full and private access to the treehouse, which has a wrap around deck and propane fire pit.
SPECIAL THINGS TO NOTE:
Due to uniqueness of space, no children under 13 allowed for safety reasons.
We are semi off the grid with a bathroom inside the treehouse with a composting toilet and small pump sink. Outside you will find a private outdoor shower space complete with a propane fed hot camp shower to clean off after a long day of hiking. We recently added a rustic outdoor soak tub (hot or cold), which is adjacent to the outdoor shower. Please note that during the winter months, if the outdoor temperature drops to freezing level, the outdoor shower and soak tub will be inoperable.
We also provide a large crock of fabulous drinking water.
Don’t forget that you’re nestled in the trees at the treehouse and this means Wi-Fi can be spotty at times.
The bedroom/loft is only accessible by ladder. You must be up for the adventure! If you bring your pets, they won’t be able to get into the loft so please make sure this is ideal for you.
Lastly, the treehouse has only a small kitchenette with a mini fridge, microwave, Keurig, and hot water pot. Outside on the deck there is a small Weber propane grill. We provide plates, bowls, mugs, cups, and silverware.
Please note, the treehouse is on the same property as our main house that we occupy, as well as a tiny cabin that we also rent out. The treehouse is down the hill and you will have privacy. At times, you may hear us being active outside with our kids and friends. We do our best to keep the noise to a minimum.
Come have an adventure in the trees that you’ll never forget!
