We loved the house and it's settings and enjoyed our stay very much The only thing we stumbled upon is that we are totally unaware of the German disposable system. We did our best with the help of Google, but still ... hope you can forgive any mistakes we still might have madeMaybe a small tip: for future foreign guests a list where to put what garbage might be of help for them.

Moselle holiday

Clean, well appointed property. We did however have a couple of issues. We didn’t realise how many steps there were as there was no floor plan. The stairs to the top floor have metal strips along the front and our grandson slipped and cut his heel on one which meant a trip to the hospital. The microwave in the kitchen did not work and we couldn’t find a book with all the instructions for using things in the house. We have usually had a book with all relevant information in, good restaurants in the area, things to do locally, hospital telephone numbers etc. The area is lovely and has some excellent restaurants within walking distance from the house. There is also live entertainment in one of the little squares near to the house on a Saturday night.

Great Stay in Wolf!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in Wolf. This 3 BR 3BA farmhouse exceeds expectations! Pre-arrival coordination was exemplary, with code to keybox provided before arrival. Ten people could easily be comfortable in this house- very roomy! Bathrooms are large, with endless hot water and great water pressure. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook three dinners. Nice sized refrigerator with small freezer. Parking…we had a small SUV that narrowly made the relatively sharp turn in and out of the parking area - so large vehicles may have issues. The WiFi was great - fast enough to stream movies with no buffering. We enjoyed the large satellite TV channel options. In addition to three king beds, there’s also both a children’s playroom and a children’s bedroom with several twin beds. We had a small hiccup with the washing machine - we didn’t realize the water to machine was turned off (for safety reasons…my mother turns water off to her washer after each use also to avoid possible water issues) until three hours after placing laundry in the unit - but the washer worked wonderfully after we turned the water on. Several supermarkets are within 15-minutes drive of the rental. There is nearby hotel on the river that has a terrace restaurant open each night of our stay - even on May Day (1 May)…very friendly staff with excellent food. Wolf is a beautiful, quiet village providing easy access to Cochem, Trier, and Bernkastel-Kues. We highly recommend this rental home!!!

Insgesamt ein sehr schöner Urlaub, in einen echt außergewöhnlich eingerichteten Haus. Wenn es etwas zu bemängeln gäbe, wäre es eventuell der schlechte Parkplatz. Mit einen großen Auto einzuparken, ist hier schon sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig.

tolles Winzerhaus

Diese Ferienwohnung in einem Winzerhaus ist unserer Meinung nach super. Ruhige Lage im Ortsteil Wolf von Traben Trarbach gelegen. Parkplatz auf dem Hof.Die Ferienwohnung ist liebevoll mit vielen alten, historischen und antiken Gegenständen ausgestattet.Viele alte Bilder, Uhren, Möbel und sonstige Gegenstände. Wir fanden das toll. Die gesamte Ferienwohnung ist top gereinigt, die Küche ist voll ausgestattet, alles ganz, nichts ist angeschlagen und es ist viel Geschirr vorhanden. Die 3 Bäder sind auch OK, nichts angeschlagen oder defekt, ausreichend Seife im Spender und Toilettenpapier ist auch nicht abgezählt. Handtücher waren mitzubringen, was nicht schlimm war, da wir mit dem Auto dort waren. Es war schön warm in der Wohnung. Ein kleiner Mangel waren die wenigen TV Programme....Wir sind aber sehr, sehr zufrieden abgereist.

Altes Winzerhaus Wolf-traben Trarbach Mosel

Eine sehr schöne Ferienunterkunft. Moderne Küche und Bäder. Alles was man braucht war vorhanden. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll nostalgisch eingerichtet, was uns sehr gefallen hat. Parkmöglichkeit für ein PKW am Haus. Nicht weit, ca. 100m weitere Parkmöglichkeiten am Moselufer. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr gern weiterempfehlen.

Gemütliches Ferienhaus

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Wolf sehr genossen. Das Dorf und die Wohnung fanden wir sehr gemütlich. Wir mussten uns zuerst etwas gewöhnen an alle Gemälde, Dekorationen und Gegenstände im Haus, aber wir entdeckten gleich, dass wirklich alles vorhanden war. Oft ist die Küche in einer Ferienwohnung nicht so gut ausgestattet, aber hier war alles spitze! Es gab eine Menge Geschirr und Töpfen und Pfannen die waren alle von guter Qualität. Alle Räume und Schlafzimmer waren groß genug und die Betten waren groß und vor allem breit genug. Unsere Kinder sind schon Teenager, aber mit Kleinkindern ist das Spielzimmer und das Kinderzimmer neben den Eltern ganz bequem. Nur das Parken am Haus war jedes Mal eine kleine Herausforderung...

Großzügiges Haus

Unser Aufenthalt im Alten Winzerhaus war perfekt. In der Küche hat es an nichts gefehlt und die Schlafzimmer waren sehr schön eingerichtet, mit antiken Möbeln. Für meinen Geschmack gab es zuviel an Deko an den Wänden und auf den Fensterbänken, aber das ist Geschmacksache. Wir haben uns ungeachtet dessen sehr wohl gefühlt.
