This listing is for the back unit (b) of a reverse living, contemporary style duplex. It looks as good in person as it does in these pictures! Available weekly with a Saturday changeover. In the off-season (October - May) we rent with 3 night minimums. Price includes a changeover cleaning. Linens NOT included, but can be rented locally.

We are the third house from the beach, with ocean, beach and bay views, house is elevated and consists of three stories. The ground floor has ample storage space for all your beach stuff as well as a dedicated stack-able washer and dryer extra fridge, and a Foosball table! Two front and back on site parking spots are allocated to this unit on the west (left) side of the house. Up to the second floor where you will find three bedrooms and a full bath with beds to sleep 7 people comfortably. The master bedroom has a Samsung smart WiFi enabled HDTV. All of the bedrooms contain high end Sealy “Posturepedic” mattresses with plenty of pillows for a restful sleep after a long day on the beach. Up the stairs to the third floor where you enter the open living area with a kitchen, and dining space. The living room has a 50' Samsung smart led TV with lots of windows to bring the sunny weather inside with you. The kitchen is a modern kitchen with wood cabinets and granite counter tops with stainless steel appliances including refrigerator with ice maker, range, dishwasher and microwave. It is well stocked with all you the equipment and utensils you need to cook and dine in. Want to take in the fresh air? A sliding glass doors open up to a balcony with ocean views. Still want more views? Head up the spiral staircase to the roof-top deck and take in breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean, bay, beach and island. You cannot find a better rental value in ship bottom!

You can also enjoy the spacious fenced in backyard with BBQ area and HEATED in-ground pool! This shared space (with the front unit in this duplex) and features a 4ft deep in-ground heated pool with steps and a sitting wall. Two Weber gas grills and dining tables gives plenty of cooking/eating space for everyone to enjoy! To rinse off the salt and the sand from the beach, there are two outdoor showers, one in the back yard near the pool and one on the east side, both shared. In addition, we have two dedicated (one for each unit) enclosed outside showers on the west side of the house! That's 4 outside showers!

Location, location, location! – if you are going to vacation “down the shore” you have to stay near the beach! This house is just 43 steps from driveway to beach walkway. Stay ocean block and walk to the beach without crossing any roads. In addition to being close to the beach, this house is close to the causeway so you don’t have to wait in “island traffic” when you want to come or go from LBI. Major chain store shopping, including Shop Right, Wal-Mart, BJ’s, Costco, Target, Kohls, and many others are just 10 minutes away (on mainland). Want to stay local? No problem! Within 3 blocks you have a CVS, 7 -Eleven, Wawa, seafood market, Farmers market, surf shop, arcade, mini golf, ice cream pallor, bike rental, shops and restaurants including a pancake house and the “best burgers” on lbi! Want to explore other parts of the island? Barnegat light is just a 15 minute drive to the north and beach haven is just a 15 minute drive to the south. Don’t want to drive, take the FREE LBI Shuttle just a block away!

Entertainment/technology - for inside entertainment, this unit features Samsung smart Wi-Fi connected led TV’s located in the living room and master bedroom. Logon to your favorite streaming entertainment providers including Netflix, Hulu, Pandora and more or cast video from your mobile devices to these smart TV’s.

HEATED POOL
We open the pool each year in late April and have it heated and ready to use by May 1. It is serviced weekly and we maintain it at 85 degrees from May 1 through the beginning of October (through Chowderfest weekend). So come stay with us in May and September and enjoy great savings off in-season rates!

Wonderful family vacation spot!

Beautiful home in a beautiful location! As good as ocean front. Roof top deck is awesome. Pool is great for kids, and large walk-out basement was an excellent play area on rainy days. 2nd fridge in basement is very handy (especially for a family with teenage boys). Home is nicely and thoughtfully furnished; nothing overlooked. We look forward to coming back!

My husband and I had an intimate Thanksgiving getaway here. I was put at ease upon arrival eyeballing corners, flooring, table tops and utensils for any signs of dirt or neglect; and we found none!! The house is truly immaculate and appointed beautifully, just as the pictures shown. It was just the two of us and we slept in the master bedroom where the bedding was comfortable and the flat screen a bonus. The weather was seasonably cold for this time of year. However, we did take a stroll to the beach which is footsteps from the door. And I can truly image being here in the summer would multiply the pleasure factor/experience even more so. There's a roof top deck with ocean side views and a swimming pool. And last but not least, the owner made the entire rental process a breeze. Thanks for sharing your rental!

Great location, very minimal

We enjoyed our stay at shamrock by the sea but were disappointed by a few things. The location is objectively spectacular for beach goers and the views from the roof are simply stunning. The pool and backyard are wonderful. Parking is easy and overall the actual space was fine. We enjoyed our morning walk to the Local, a newer coffee shop in the area. The house has very bare essentials and was extremely musty and dusty as if there was water damage. We struggled the entire stay with allergies and some in the family ultimately decided to leave but to be fair the owner did say there was no water damage so we do not know what caused this. It is important to note that even though the VRBO contract check out time is 11am the owner expects renters to leave at 10am on check out day despite the contract with VRBO. This unfair error and lack of flexibility one of reasons we won’t be renting here again. If you are a person looking for location, views, and a pool this is a great spot for you but don’t expect anything to make an impression inside the house.

A fantastic break

Lovely home literally steps from the beach. We actually got to see the beach covered in snow! The outdoor pool area and rooftop deck looked great. We will have to come back when it’s warm enough to use them. Duane is very communicative and helpful with any questions. The neighborhood is quiet but also very close to stores and shops. Highly recommend.

Amazing beach vacation!

The house sits just steps from beach and after spending a day at beach there is nothing better then walking back to take a nice dip in the pool and enjoy a cocktail poolside. Location can't be beat for beach getting on and off island and it's not in the hustle and bustle of beach haven nice beach block

Duane was the absolute best. Not only did he respond quickly when booking but he made sure we had everything we needed and explained everything in detail on the stay and amenities. I have never stayed at a house that included an amazing pool, left beach cruisers to ride and beach chairs/toys. This place is amazing for families. When we were leaving he even came by to introduce himself and make sure our stay was exceptional. Couldn't have asked for a better renter! Cannot wait for next year!

Wonderful Stay

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. Duane was very helpful and attentative to any needs we had. The top deck was awesome to watch dolphins swimming in the ocean. It was so nice to step out and be right there at the beach. The heated pool was a bonus for earlier in the season stay when it's not warm enough to swim. We will be back!

GREAT House GREAT View! (Unit B)

We had a great time at the beach house. The house is beautiful and located in a great spot. We were only a few feet away from the beach. The house was clean, spacious and the heated pool and grill was a definite plus. The rooftop patio was another plus - beautiful view of the beach and sunrise. Not only were there lounge chairs, but there was also another patio area where our family was able to sit and enjoy the rest of the evening. Access to shops and restaurants were very convenient and the property managers were very nice. I would certainly recommend this rental. Try it out, you won't be disappointed.

This house is perfectly located on LBI and only a few houses off the beach. Easy acces to and from the bridge and within walking distance to lots of great restaurants and shops. The house itself is very well kept, nicely decorated and the owners are easy to contact if you have any questions or needs. We had so much fun last year that we returned this year and are already looking forward to next year!

Modern, Unique Beach House

My husband and I rented here for the week after our wedding (also on LBI). We had a great time. This is one of the only modern homes (updated appliances and furniture) that you will find on the island. This place is within walking distance of a lot of restaurants and is mere steps from the beach. It was fun to cool off in the pool in the afternoon and the grill worked well and was clean. The owners provide beach chairs and umbrellas, which was a plus. Yes, you are sharing this house with another family, but we rarely saw the other family, and when we did, they were very pleasant. Duane was very responsive and helpful both while booking and during the week we were there. The house is next to a condo complex, and the first night we were there, the people in one of the condos were playing really vulgar and offensive music outside on their patio. This, of course, has nothing to do with the house and was out of anyone's control and certainly not the fault of the owner. Despite this, I highly recommend booking here. The rooftop space is a gem. The owners spared no expenses in furnishing and designing this place. We had a very relaxing week, which is just what we needed.

Awesome place to stay for week at the beach, and you feel like your at the beach. Just climb a stair case to the awesome roof top and you have an Ocean and Bay view. We never wanted to leave it. It offered the best view of the island. House was so neat and comfortable. Beds so comfortable. Plus having a pool was awesome for those who are not beach lovers. The house came with bikes and chairs that we didn't have to bring our own or rent. Plus a refrigerator in garage that made it easy to pack cooler for beach. So many great attributes about this house we highly recommend it.

Another great year!

This is my 2nd year in a row staying at shamrock by the sea and once again Duane and his family did and excellant job of keeping up with house and making sure everything was taken care of we needed! Once again the location is great for getting on and off the island! Also the how close the house is to the beach makes it great for having smaller children! Having a couple of days where it wasn't exactly beach weather, that's where the pool came in great for everyone especially the kids! Once again a great trip with unbelievable sunsets from rooftop! Already booked for next year!

This was our third year staying at the property. It's just excellent in every way imaginable. So close to the beach. Pool and BBQ are amazing. Close to yummy restaurants and (our fav) mini golf places. Duane is very easy to get in touch with and extremely helpful. You can't go wrong staying here.

Paradise Vacation

I could not be happier with our stay. The house was beautifully designed and decorated. We are taking note of the paint colors for our own home! We were so impressed with how sparkling clean it was. It was the perfect getaway for our family. The location is so convenient because it is RIGHT off the bridge. Everything you need is right there. We loved the local shops and places to eat. I don’t know what we enjoyed more… the amazing beach view from the gorgeous balcony/patio or the close walk to the legendary LBI beach. We were able to run back for bathrooms or snacks in minutes from the beach if needed. The pool was magnificent! We swam in the pool every day we were renting. I would highly recommend this house to anyone who wants to feel spoiled and treated like royalty by the owners. Thank you to Duane and Kathy for sharing your special oasis with us.

Perfect location for family.

Great location and owners. Duane and Kathy were very attentive to everything. The rooftop deck is great as well as the heated pool. 50 yard to the beach so it is great for families with kids. Pool and beach can't beat it for the little ones. Duane added foosball and has all the beach necessitates and bikes. Back garage is great. Don't hesitate about booking this place.

Why they chose this property

This property is a dream come true for my wife. We spent the first 8 summers of my children's lives vacationing in a house just a stone throw away from this location. Some day we dreamed of owning a little piece of this relaxing island paradise and in 2013 our dream came true! We like this area for its beautiful wide beaches, quiet family friendly neighborhood, and convenient, central location. Easy access on and off the Island is also a big plus and now we have the FREE LBI Shuttle...what else could you ask for?

What makes this property unique

Once you step out on to the roof top decks, you will see why we chose this house. Watch the sun come up out of the ocean or go down into the bay. Panoramic views from one of the highest roof top decks in Ship Bottom. Then, when its time to go inside, relax with all of the comforts and conveniences of a modern home. Our guests tell us the nicest feature/benefit we have is having a pool in a ocean block rental. You have the best of both words...just steps to the beach or steps to the pool. Spend your mornings on the beach, afternoons by the pool, cocktail hour on the roof top deck to see the sun go down! Then walk to your favorite restaurant, mini golf, or ice cream. Park the car and enjoy your beach vacation down the jersey Shore!
