Your Modern Lakeside Escape & Adventure Hub
Experience the best of Maine lake life in a home designed for comfort, convenience, and high-end living. Situated on a quiet dead-end road and sitting just 25 feet from the shoreline of Hermon Pond, our retreat offers unparalleled access to world-class fishing, snowmobiling, and the peaceful serenity of the Maine woods.
The Space: Modern, Clean, and Built for Maine
Inside, you’ll find a completely renovated interior with a clean, modern aesthetic. We’ve designed this space to handle the "real world" of Maine living:
LifeProof Flooring Throughout: Brand-new, waterproof flooring—ideal for those coming in from a day on the ice or the trails.
Endless Hot Water: Our high-end Rinnai tankless water heater ensures back-to-back hot showers for everyone in your group.
Climate Mastery: Fully automated central AC and high-efficiency heating to keep you toasty even in the peak of winter.
A Fisherman’s Paradise: Watch Your Flags from the Couch!
The "Warm" Way to Ice Fish: Set your traps just feet from the shore and watch for flags popping right from the comfort of your living room. Stay warm inside and only head out when the action starts!
Diverse Species: The pond is home to trophy Bass, Pickerel, Crappie, and Perch, with Brook Trout also found in the system.
Direct Access: Step off your back deck and onto the ice in seconds.
The Ultimate Winter Adventure
Snowmobiling: Ride directly onto the frozen pond from our shore. We are located just 0.5 miles from the Penobscot Snowmobile Club, giving you quick access to the local network and the massive ITS 84 system. Our driveway offers ample parking for trucks and trailers.
Skiing & Tubing: Just 10 minutes to New Hermon Mountain for night skiing, snowboarding, or the tubing park.

Why they chose this property
"The scene here is defined by its quiet energy and outdoor lifestyle. What we enjoy most is how the neighborhood serves as a premier headquarters for every season. In the winter, it’s a vibrant destination for ice fishing and snowmobiling, with the ITS 84 trails and the Penobscot Snowmobile Club just around the corner. In the warmer months, the focus shifts to the water, where you can watch eagles and loons from your deck in total peace.
It is a respectful, low-traffic community where you can truly disconnect, knowing that modern conveniences like Danforth’s, Pat’s Pizza, and the airport are all just a quick drive away. Whether you are here for a graduation, a concert, or a weekend on the ice, this neighborhood provides the perfect balance of lakeside privacy and logistical ease."

What makes this property unique
"Our home offers a rare 'best of both worlds' experience that you won't find at a typical Maine lake rental. While you are tucked away on a quiet dead-end road just 25 feet from the water, you are also in the ultimate centralized hub for Maine's best activities.
You can spend your morning watching ice fishing flags pop from the comfort of your living room, your afternoon snowmobiling the ITS 84 trails or skiing at New Hermon Mountain, and your evening enjoying a world-class concert or upscale dining in Bangor—all within a 15-minute drive. We’ve traded the 'rustic camp' feel for modern, pristine comfort, ensuring that after a day of adventure, you’re returning to a clean, updated home that serves as the perfect basecamp for everything Central Maine has to offer."
