Treat yourself to a break and enjoy quality time with the whole family in the beautiful Baltic Sea region. The holiday home is a newly completed property and has been furnished in a maritime style with great attention to detail—its approximately 95 m² offers plenty of space and comfort for up to 4 people.
The open living area stands out especially for its many floor-to-ceiling windows, which flood the space with light, as well as its thoughtfully designed furnishings that create a cosy, maritime ambiance. From here, you also have direct access to the terrace of the approximately 300m² garden. On the lawn, your children have plenty of space to run around and play, and there’s even a football goal available for your use. During the day, you can soak up the sun in the garden, and in the evening, you can wind down with a barbecue or relax on the cosy sofa set with a glass of wine—that’s how wonderful a holiday on the Baltic Sea can be!
A special highlight of this semi-detached house is definitely the ultra-modern kitchen with a cooking island, which is open to the living area: Amateur chefs will be in heaven here! It’s easy to prepare delicious meals, as the kitchen is equipped with all the appliances you need for a comfortable holiday.
Looking for fresh ingredients? Every Wednesday and Saturday morning, a weekly market takes place on the church square in Eckernförde from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., where you’ll find a wide selection of regional and seasonal products—perfect for whipping up a delicious meal in the home’s spacious, modern kitchen using fresh ingredients from the market. This turns cooking on holiday into a delightful experience!
For a good night’s sleep, the “Borbyer Perle” offers two bedrooms on the ground floor. Both rooms are equipped with a high-quality box-spring bed, and one of them even features an additional flat-screen TV. The spacious bathroom, featuring a walk-in shower with a rain showerhead, a sink, and a toilet, is also located on the ground floor. An additional guest bathroom is available on the ground floor.
Should the weather not cooperate, there are plenty of activities to choose from, including free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, a stereo system, a small holiday library, and board games. Additionally, the holiday home features underfloor heating.

You can conveniently park your car right in front of the house, and there’s space available on the patio behind the house for any bicycles you bring along. The Borbyer Perle is located in a quiet, family-friendly residential area in the Borby district of Eckernförde—ideal for a relaxing holiday with children. In less than ten minutes on foot, you can reach the small Borby swimming area: a fine-sand beach with shallow water that’s perfect for splashing around, digging in the sand, and relaxing—all without the hustle and bustle of the larger Baltic Sea beaches. Just a few steps away from our “Borbyer Perle” is also a lovely playground with a zip line, swings, and climbing structures—perfect for spontaneous play breaks.
Eckernförde’s city centre area, with its harbour, small shops, and cosy cafés, is also within easy walking distance.
The Tolk-Schau is a great option for a day trip—a family-friendly amusement park that’s only about a 25-minute drive away. With rides, playgrounds, and a dinosaur trail, it’s especially popular with younger children.

During peak season, there is a minimum stay of 7 nights. During off-season, there is a minimum stay of 4 nights.

An initial set of linens (1 set of bed linens and towels per person) is included. Additional linen changes upon request: €25 per person
