In winter, find yourself nestled in a true winter wonderland. The legendary Big Sky Resort, known as "The American Alps," is just a stone's throw away, offering access to some of the biggest skiing in North America.
The home provides ski in/out access to the main base via a groomed residential ski route. Please note that this route is weather-dependent. Alternatively, you can take a two-minute drive to the free skier parking lots at either the main Big Sky base or the Madison base area.
For Nordic skiers, the world-famous Lone Mountain Ranch is just five miles away. There, you can explore an endless network of groomed Nordic and snowshoeing trails. Ski In/Ski Out Options:
1. Walk the path from the house to the White Otter Lift, use the White Otter Lift to bring you to the main base area.
2. Have someone in your party drop you off at the White Otter Lift. The next street over from the house lands you directly at the White Otter Lift.
3. Drive to the main base area, 2-minute drive with free parking at the base area.

Ski Out- Pick one of the three above options. The walk from the house to the White Otter Lift is very easy to navigate and will take you about 5-minute walking time. If skiing with young children or beginners you will likely prefer to start from the main base area.
Ski In- From Lower Morning Star, take the White Otter Access. You can ski all the way back to the house.
