The property was very conveniently located just a short walk to downtown Monterey. Property was in a gated community, which was nice and also just steps to the beach.

This was our first VRBO experience and turned out to be the loveliest vacation stay of our lives. The home was not only clean, but decorated as a home by the sea. It was adequately stocked with linens, laundry, kitchen supplies and appliances including dishwasher. The home has beautiful wrap around porches with a barbecue grill on one. Large windows line every wall for ocean views. You can hear waves breaking and the sounds of sea creatures throughout the day and night. The property is beautifully landscaped with a gate to the beach literally right outside your front door. Don’t miss out on this amazing home by the sea!

The place was absolutely amazing and just as described, very quiet and clean. Perfect location, I walked everywhere or used the trolley. My only complaint is the communication with host company Grand Welcome. It was horrible. Multiple different people would write back to my messages with different answers. It was very confusing when it didn’t need to be. This was my first VRBO experience so that didn’t help at all. But again, once I got to the home it was amazing. I’m glad I didn’t have too many issues once I was there because I was dreading having to communicate with them. They simply need one person communicating with a renter and it would be a lot better.

My wife and I had a great time staying at this condo near the beach in Monterey. The location is perfect as it provides excellent access to both the Monterey Peninsula and South Bay retail & restaurants. Overall, the furnishings and amenities in the condo are nice based on what we have experienced at other VRBO properties. Be advised the kitchen/family room is a bit small, but perfect for a couple on a holiday. Also, there are many steps you need to climb in order to reach the bedrooms inside this condo. And there are also stairs up to the entry deck to access the front door. Overall we had a wonderful monthlong stay despite the foggy cool conditions during June. Yes....June gloom was in full force! Ha!
