Tucked into a lush corner of Ojai, Lavender House is a refined private retreat where modern luxury meets the quiet beauty of the land. Designed for gathering and ease, the home opens into a spacious, light-filled great room with a high-end kitchen, butler’s pantry, inviting living area, and fireplace—anchored by expansive glass doors that fully open to a secluded pool terrace.

Outside, the experience continues with a private pool, bar area, and dedicated full bathroom, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor flow ideal for long afternoons and warm Ojai evenings. The property itself is a true sanctuary, set among a budding lavender farm and fruit orchard that offer both fragrance and tranquility throughout the day.

Upstairs, the home sleeps up to seven guests across four thoughtfully appointed bedrooms, supported by two full baths. A convenient half bath is located downstairs for daytime living and entertaining. Every detail is designed to feel relaxed yet elevated—perfect for families, friends, or intimate retreats seeking space, privacy, and connection to nature.

Set on a gated, fenced hillside estate in Ojai, this Spanish-style hacienda rests on 1.11 private acres, surrounded by orchards and mountain views. It’s a peaceful, tucked-away haven that captures everything Ojai is known for—pink-moment skies, timeless Spanish architecture, and the simple joy of picking fruit straight from the trees. Just minutes from downtown Ojai, the home offers breathtaking views from its perch in the Valley of the Moon.

Guests have private access to the main living space and full pool area. Please note that there are two additional guest houses on the property and a host onsite. This is strictly a non-party, quiet property. Loud music, events, or gatherings of any kind are not permitted. Quiet hours are strictly enforced beginning at 9:00 PM. Lavender House is intentionally designed as a serene retreat for guests seeking rest, relaxation, and respect for the surrounding environment.

You’re also welcome to enjoy shared outdoor areas, including relaxing on the front lawn or wandering down to the orchard entrance to pick fresh, seasonal Ojai fruit—a simple pleasure that captures the spirit of this beautiful valley.

You’ll have your own private entrance code and access to our Ojai guidebook upon arrival. We’re easy to reach anytime through Airbnb, by phone (call or text), or via our guest website.

Private Wellness Club
Our property is part of a Private Membership Association (PMA)—similar to other wellness retreats in Ojai. After booking, the guest who made the reservation will just need to sign a quick membership agreement (no extra costs). You’re free to cancel your membership anytime after your visit.

Pool Heating - Add-on
Pool heating is available for 2 day stays ($280), 3 day stays ($350) and an additional $70/day for longer stays.

Pets
We welcome up to 2 well-behaved dogs. A $95 pet fee applies.
House Rules and Additional Information

Quiet Property / No Parties
This is strictly a quiet, non-party property. Events, gatherings, and loud music are not permitted at any time. Quiet hours are strictly enforced beginning at 9:00 PM. This home is intended for rest, relaxation, and respectful use only. Any violation of this policy may result in immediate cancellation without refund.

Respect for the Property & Shared Grounds
Please note this is a shared estate with additional guest houses and a host onsite. Guests must respect the grounds, orchards, landscaping, and other guests at all times. This is a serene property, and behavior that disrupts the peaceful environment is not permitted.

Safety / Children
Please note that there is a staircase as well as a pool. Young children must be monitored at all times to prevent accidents. The kids’ room has a loft-style bed, which is suitable only for older children over 7.

Smoking
No smoking or vaping of any kind is permitted inside the home or anywhere on the property.

Pets
A maximum of one dog is permitted unless you receive prior approval.
• Dogs must be kept under control at all times
• Dogs are not allowed to roam freely on the shared grounds
• Dogs may not be left inside the home unattended
• All potty breaks must take place in the designated dog run (located next to the carport parking area)
• Dogs are not allowed on furniture or beds
• Guests must promptly clean up after their pet and ensure pets do not disturb other guests
Failure to comply with pet rules may result in additional fees or cancellation without refund.

Pool Heating - Add-on
During the off-season, pool heating is available for a flat $200 (1-3 days), plus $45 for each additional day.

Occupancy
Only registered guests listed on the reservation are permitted on the property. Visitors or additional guests are not allowed without prior approval.

General Courtesy & Compliance
Guests are expected to be respectful of neighbors, other guests, and the host at all times. Any behavior that violates house rules or disrupts the peaceful nature of the property may result in immediate removal without refund.
