Due to the good location, there are numerous Lake Constance excursions waiting for you, e.g. to the city of Konstanz, which is only a 35-minute drive away and is famous for beautiful old town centre with a cathedral and charming architecture, or to the flower island Mainau. The historical old town of Meersburg is about a 30minute drive from Stockach. Friedrichshafen and the nearby airport can be reached after a 55-minute drive (53 km), and Schaffhausen in Switzerland can be reached by car after 35 minutes (37 km). The area is also perfect for cycle tours along the scenic shores of Lake Constance. In winter, you can go skiing after a 30-minute drive (29 km) near Tuttlingen.
