Nestled near the sleepy village of Lafayette, NY, The Old Orchard Cottage is a 650 sq ft cabin designed and furnished with a laid back, comfy Adirondack lodge vibe. Built in 2025, quality construction and close attention to detail is obvious throughout. The cottage sits back off the road on a gently sloped hill. This offers spectacular views of the surrounding rolling hills. A 26’ long porch graces the front of The Cottage. Inside, you will immediately be struck by the great room with its 19’ ceilings. A fully stocked kitchen with large refrigerator, gas stove and microwave allow for wonderful meals. There is a 60” smart TV in the living room. Relax in the 2 loveseat couches with recliners. One bedroom downstairs with a queen bed and smart TV. Full luxury bathroom with radiant floor heating and walk-in shower. Ascend the spiral staircase to a generous loft bedroom with a king size bed and built in dresser. Whether you’re unwinding indoors or enjoying the peaceful surroundings, this beautiful cottage provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere. There is a stocked fishing stream and marked snowmobile trail just 1/2 mile north on Dodge Rd.

Close proximity means that we are almost always available to promptly see to your needs for your stay. At the same time, we respect your privacy and if you don’t need something attended to immediately, you probably won’t see us.

I love the view from this 4.8 acre property. I was also attracted to the railroad that runs on the back side of the property.
