Harlingen is a picturesque harbor town, only 14 km away. In this town you can enjoy a day at the beach, go shopping or visit the town hall, the lighthouse and the Zuiderhaven. The ferry also sails from Harlingen to the islands of Terschelling and Vlieland, which are definitely worth a visit. The town of Franeker, known for the Elfstedentocht, is 5 km from the vacation home. Visit the historic center and the planetarium here. Leeuwarden, the capital of Friesland, is 22 km from the vacation home. The vacation home is 7 km from the indoor swimming pool Bloemketerp in Franeker. Don't feel like cooking? Opposite the park is the restaurant Het Wapen van Barradeel, where you can have lunch or dinner.
