Welcome to Our Dome Home
This isn’t just a vacation rental — it’s the home we moved into when we first came to Florida. When our family relocated, we knew we had to find a way to keep this special place. We’re so happy to share it with you.
Yes, it’s an actual dome home. Full residential construction with real bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and all the comforts of home — just with unique
architecture. Curved walls, an open central gathering space, and a layout that naturally brings everyone together
We’re so happy to share our dome with you and look forward to hosting your stay
T H E D O M E
Yes, it’s an actual dome home (not a camping tent! ). Full residential construction with a real kitchen, comfortable beds, and a backdrop for making new memories —all the things that make a house feel like home. But it is different!
– Conversations carry in unexpected ways laughter echoes beautifully and kids absolutely love how their voices bounce around. It’s part of the dome’s charm, though light sleepers should know that sounds travel more than in a typical house. (Tip-have the light sleepers in one of the bedrooms downstairs.)
– Upstairs, the two bedrooms have doors but half-walls instead of full walls to the ceiling—creating an open, airy feeling that works great for families with kids or close friends. It’s not the same level of privacy as a traditional bedroom, and we wanted you to know what to expect. We always loved seeing heads poke over the wall so they could see what’s going on downstairs.

PERFECT FOR SPECIAL OCCASIONS
Wedding weekends made easy (less than a mile from Bridal Oaks)
We are less than a mile from Bridle Oaks Barn and minutes
from Venue 142 and Northwest Square. Instead of squeezing everyone into hotel rooms, bring the whole crew here. There’s space for the entire wedding party to get ready together, kids to play, and everyone to actually enjoy the weekend — not just survive it. (Special clothes steamer in the closet for those special occasion outfits).
Stetson University (less than 5 miles)
Visiting for a Stetson University event—graduation, parents’ weekend, or a campus visit? You’ll have space for the whole crew.
Blue Spring State Park (7 miles)
A local favorite and one of Florida’s most beautiful natural springs. In cooler months, it’s a designated manatee refuge—an unforgettable sight. Warmer months are perfect for swimming, kayaking, snorkeling, or a peaceful riverside walk. (Tip! Check out the park’s FB page for the current manatee count.)
De Leon Springs State Park (14 miles)
Famous for its make-your-own pancake breakfast at the Old Spanish Sugar Mill, this park also offers a stunning spring-fed swimming area, kayaking, and shaded nature trails. It’s equal parts fun, quirky, and classic Florida charm. (Tip! You can put your name on the list for a table before you leave the house)
Race week, Bike Week & beach days (22 miles to Daytona Speedway)
Heading to Daytona Beach for Race Week, Bike Week, or a beach day? You’re close enough to enjoy the excitement, but far enough away to unwind and escape the crowds when you’re done. And there is plenty of room for parking for your bikes or trailer with no extra fees.
A FEW HONEST NOTES
The dome’s unique architecture means sound travels differently than in a standard home — laughter echoes beautifully, and conversations carry across rooms. The upstairs loft bedrooms feature open half-walls that overlook the main living space below, creating an airy, connected feel that’s perfect for families and close friend groups. Light sleepers will be most comfortable in the downstairs bedrooms. This home has character, quirks, and a whole lot of love built into it. If you want a memorable stay in a home unlike anything you’ve experienced, we’d love to host you.
