Our house keeping cottage have 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, living room, kitchen and screened/glassed in porch. All linens are provided. Complete kitchen set up. Also provided, gas grill, picnic table, microwave, coffee maker and TV .Ashley's Cottages is a great place to vacation, if you want to get away from it all. Enjoy a relaxing day of swimming, fishing, sitting by the lake and the campfire. If fishing is your love Jackson Brook Lake offers great Smallmouth Bass fishing. There has been a lot of 3-4 pounders caught and yes we have had 5 pounders too! Your love is hiking there are a lot of hiking trails close by. And for the hunter there is small and large game hunting (whitetail deer, bear, Moose, birds, ducks and much more. So what ever your love might be you will find it at Birchwood Cottages.

Would go back anytime of year!

Beautiful, comfortable, lakeside spot. Wonderful hosts introduced themselves upon our arrival. We were left to ourselves which we like, though the owners are close by for ice etc... You want a rustic camp right on a lake you can walk off the lawn and into a lake? This is your place.

R&R in Maine

LOVED our experience at Birchwood. Two city gals came to Maine for the week, and post-heavy hiking days in Acadia, decided to relax here for some R&R (and hopes to see some wildlife!). Sally and her properties did not disappoint. The cabin was perfect and cozy, the sunrise views were insane, and we were able to spot and hear some loons before they fly south! Our day kayaking the lake was absolutely perfect. Wi-Fi is great too if you’re looking for a place to change up your remote work environment. There is not much nearby, so be sure to shop ahead of time — kitchen is equipped with the basics, but enough for us to make a few quality meals and have hot coffee in the morning. Thanks again Sally!

Great Small Mouth Fishing

The property was spotless. The fishing was fantastic. I had the lake to myself to fish. Very quiet with a spectacular sunrise. Hope to visit you again. Just what we need.
