Dear Vincie,The area has family roots and your home is beautiful. From a design build professional opinion, you made excellent design choices. It's classic with modern touches in the right places. It's beautiful and very well equipped. My mom had never used a French press and struggled with it. I love them and was delighted to use it. I am grateful you don't have a plastic coffee maker. Thankfully, we didn't the need the stove, because it wasn't working.The beds and bedding were very comfortable. The bathrooms comfy, pretty- all well done!A request before I rent again around July: Dimmers on lights. And, please darken the windows in the bedrooms. It would increase a good night rest. Those sensitive to night light, bring a night mask. The neighbor's porch string lights are on 24/7. I work with schools, neighborhoods and parks and rec. We stayed during International Dark Skies Week. Please introduce me to those you may know in local governance and any other stakeholders in the area. I'll help them organize for a Bird and Tree City recognition for NKC. My family is from NKC. I'm a nature-conservation teacher and journalist. Ironically, as I'm teaching the world to turn off exterior lights, as a guest in your lovely home, next door made sleeping challenging.
