Welcome to Altefähr on Rügen!

Our accommodation, the Anne Holiday Apartment (ground floor, 45 square metres, max. 2 guests and one child in a travel cot, with living room, 1 bedroom, entryway closet, shower/tub, kitchenette, terrace with patio furniture, Wi-Fi), is located in the small seaside resort of Altefähr, across from the Hanseatic city of Stralsund. The holiday apartment is accessible via a separate entrance and features new and modern furnishings.

Altefähr has a beautiful, fine-sand beach facing the Strelasund, and even when the sun isn’t shining, it’s an ideal starting point for exploring the island of Rügen and, in particular, the Hanseatic city of Stralsund with its many attractions. It’s about a 5-minute walk to the beach in Altefähr.
At the Altefähr harbour, you can go surfing, rent boats, fish, and swim at the newly built beach. The beach in Altefähr was rebuilt in 2014. The surrounding area offers great opportunities for cycling tours with connections to Altefähr. Altefähr is an excellent base for exploring the islands of Rügen and Hiddensee, as well as Stralsund and the surrounding area. There is a hair salon, a supermarket, and various restaurants on site, including a Greek restaurant and an Italian snack bar. From spring through fall, there is a direct ferry service between the ports of Altefähr and Stralsund, and the Baltic Sea is just a three-quarter-hour drive away.

The garden terrace features outdoor furniture and a grill. There’s also a large lawn here for playing and sunbathing. Free parking is available on the property. Don’t forget the beautiful view across the strait to Stralsund, which you can enjoy from the garden terrace.

If you’re looking for nightlife, Stralsund has plenty to offer. While in Stralsund, be sure to visit the Maritime Museum (Ozeaneum); the Störtebeker Festival in Ralswiek; the Miniature Park in Gingst; the Königsstuhl chalk cliffs near Sassnitz; and the Dinosaur Park near Sagard.

It accommodates up to 2 guests and one child in a travel cot, has been modernly and tastefully furnished, and features Wi-Fi internet access. A parking space is included.

The living room features a sleeper sofa that can accommodate two guests, an armchair, a table, and a modern flat-screen TV. There is also a dining table with chairs. The kitchenette is fully equipped with a stove, oven, range hood, electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster, and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment.

The bedroom features a comfortable double bed with nightstands and reading lamps, as well as a wardrobe. The bright bathroom has a shower, sink, and toilet, and is lit by natural light. The beds will be made with linens upon your arrival. You may bring your own towels or book them for an additional fee. If you need a high chair and/or a travel cot, please specify this when booking.
