We had a wonderful time here with family. The kids loved playing in the creek, comparing rocks, and swimming in the deeper pools. The older folks enjoyed sitting on the porch, chatting and keeping an eye on the kids. We roasted marshmallows around the fire at night, making s'mores while giggling at the rousing game of Cornhole going on. We made good memories with my Grandma, who is 84; she had a good time as well, though had difficulty with the front stairs. That would be my only complaint about this place or rather information to share with future potential renters: the front steps might prove difficult for some. Maybe a ramp could be installed in the future?

The cabin needs some minor maintenance. Light bulbs were out. The ceiling fans did not change speeds and the one in the living room stopped working altogether. Location next to the creek was good. Our grandson loved the creek! There is no cell service in the area but the WiFi worked well. Great TV with lots of options to watch. The outside trash receptacles were full when we arrived with loose trash on the ground around them. The trash service pickup came once during our stay. The electricity went out during our stay but the owner quickly fixed it. Great porches to sit on. We enjoyed watching all the wildlife from the porch! It was a relaxing stay.

Plenty of room for the kids and the dog to run around and enjoy what nature could bring them. Quiet, secluded but not too far from anything.. we enjoyed this place!
