About this property

Seahorse: Drift Away in Coastal Comfort

Summary:

Your waterfront launchpad for aquatic adventures! This 2bed/2bath beauty sleeps 7 and comes equipped with everything landlubbers need: full kitchen with island for post-paddle snacks, TVs in both rooms for wind-down time, and a patio where you can plot tomorrow's kayaking conquest. Equal parts command center and cozy retreat—because the best water warriors know that epic days deserve equally epic nights of recovery!

The Space:

The Layout (aka Your Water Sports Command Center)

At 800 square feet, this place is like a well-packed kayak—everything you need, nothing you don't! Both bedrooms come with king-size beds (because paddling all day earns you sprawling-starfish sleep privileges), plus a pull-out couch that transforms the living room into bonus sleeping quarters. Two full bathrooms mean no morning shuffle-dance when everyone's trying to rinse off that salty hair at once—each one's got both a shower AND a tub for your post-adventure soak preference.

The Kitchen (Where Champions Refuel)

This isn't just a kitchen; it's your personal energy-replenishment station! We're talking full-size fridge (plenty of room for post-paddleboard celebratory beverages), stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and all the gear: cookware, baking sheets, blender for those sunrise smoothies, coffee maker with filters (because 6am sunrise kayaking waits for no one), kettle, toaster, and every dish and utensil your crew could need. The dining table is where adventure stories get louder with each retelling.

The Extras (Because Details Matter)

Smart TV and Fire TV in the living room for those rare moments when you're not actually ON the water, plus wired Ethernet for the digital nomads among you. We've stocked extra pillows and blankets, fluffy towels, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, and cleaning supplies—basically everything except the sunscreen (but hey, that's on your packing list for a reason!).

Guest Access:

Park your gear-loaded vehicle right on-site (because let's be honest, fishing tackle takes up approximately 73% more space than physics says it should), then head straight into your home base. We've got a deadbolt lock keeping everything secure while you're out chasing the big one, and the path to the door is lit up at night—because stumbling back after a sunset fishing session shouldn't require night-vision goggles.

The entire house is yours to command! Use it as your pre-dawn launch site, your midday "the fish aren't biting so let's regroup" retreat, or your evening fish-tale-telling headquarters. No shared spaces, no awkward hallway encounters—just you, your crew, and enough room to spread out all those rods without playing Jenga with your coolers.

The Neighborhood:

The Carmalita Street Scene (Where Your Taste Buds Go Fishing Too)

Carmalita Street isn't just your Punta Gorda address—it's your golden ticket to Southwest Florida's laid-back coastal lifestyle, where the fish are biting and the restaurants know exactly what to do with your catch!

Speaking of food: Punta Gorda's dining scene is like that friend who's equally comfortable at a fancy dinner party and a backyard BBQ. You've got waterfront spots serving up fresh-caught grouper that was probably swimming this morning (talk about farm-to-table, except it's boat-to-plate), local joints dishing out key lime pie that'll make you understand why Floridians won't shut up about it, and everything in between. Whether you're craving post-fishing tacos, celebratory steaks, or "we're too sun-drunk to cook" pizza delivery, you're covered.

Plus, you're nestled in the sweet spot between serious angling adventures and serious relaxation—waterfront views, shopping for that extra tackle box you definitely don't need (but will absolutely buy), and all the coastal charm without the tourist-trap chaos. It's Punta Gorda at its finest: equal parts "let's catch dinner" and "let's order dinner because we're too happy to move."

Other Things to Note:

Easy Check-In Process 🏡

It’s just like when you check in at a hotel and give your ID and security deposit to the front desk, except our front desk is online! It's super easy to complete on your phone! We use a web-based system called Enso, and you’ll receive your boarding pass with the arrival instructions. It’s simple: finish these steps, and you’re all set to enjoy your stay! Note: arrival info won’t be sent without completing these steps, and refunds aren’t possible if skipped. Your personalized guidebook will give you all the info about the home, my favorite local spots, automatic early check-in notifications, and sometimes even late checkout! You can even share it with friends and family! Got questions? Just message us anytime!

Interaction with Guests:

YourShore-Side Support Crew

Think of us as your fishing guides—here when you need us, giving you space when you don't! We're total vibe-readers, which means we follow YOUR lead on this adventure.

Need intel on where the snook are biting? Want recommendations for the best waterfront breakfast spot that opens before dawn? Wondering which bait shop has the good stuff? We're ON IT! Have a question about the grill, need an extra cooler, or can't figure out why that one light switch seems to control nothing? Send up a signal flare (okay fine, a text works too)!

Prefer to channel your inner solo angler and enjoy blissful silence between you and the water? We respect that energy! We won't pop up like an overeager pelican diving for your bait bucket.

Whether you want us as your local fishing intel source, your "where's the nearest tackle shop" hotline, your problem-solving crew, or just quiet supporters of your catch-and-relax journey from afar—you set the pace, and we'll match it!

Bottom line: We're here to make your stay legendary, on YOUR terms! 🎣
