This stay was without a doubt the worst experience we have ever had wit a rental property. The place was sadly very dirty, with weird gunk on the walls, grease stains on the sheets, and dirty ashtrays among other things. The shower floors had some unknown mess on them, and we had to buy a bathmat just to use the shower. When we arrived, the "heated" pool was freezing, so I called the given number to inquire. I was greeted with an unprofessional "What?!?" A few times until I explained that i was renting from him... only to be transferred to someone else to explain to me how to find and turn on the pool heater, which took multiple hours to heat the pool. The pool was difficult to get in and out of as there were no railings or ladders. There were no instructions for anything in the property. There were only 4 forks provided for a house that sleeps 8. The batteries fo 3 remotes died, and the electric door lock kept alarming with a low battery error. The outdoor shower exploded when we were trying to use it. Multiple rooms had a strong mold smell, and there was tons of water dripping from the vents. Several outlets/switches had exposed wiring. We ended up leaving early when we saw multiple cockroaches, and the owner blamed us. This place has a lot of potential, but we couldn't get out of there fast enough. Keep looking! I booked even though there were no reviews, which means either this is a new venture or the listing has been taken down and relisted. I wish I hadn't booked.
