Welcome to "115" – Your Kennebunkport Family Base Camp! NO CLEANING FEE.

For 23 years, this has been our cherished family home. Now, we invite you to experience the "other side" of Kennebunkport: a peaceful, wooded sanctuary on 4+ private acres that’s still just minutes from the coast. WE DO NOT CHARGE A SEPARATE CLEANING FEE. WE DO NOT CHARGE A PET FEE. The price you see is the price you pay.

PETS (DOGS) ARE WELCOME: We welcome up to 2 dogs per stay.

FREE BEACH PARKING PASSES: Skip the hassle of figuring out how to buy beach parking passes. We take care of this for you!

*Kennebunk Beaches: Gooche’s, Middle, and Mother’s beaches. TWO free, transferable beach parking passes are included. Parking spots are usually readily available - arrive early for the best chances on busy days.

THE LOCATION: Centrally located on Log Cabin Road, you are perfectly positioned for adventure:

*Walkable: Steps to the Seashore Trolley Museum.

*Minutes Away: Dock Square dining, Cape Porpoise Harbor, and the stunning sands of Goose Rocks, Kennebunk, and Colony Beaches.

*Easy Access: Quick hop to the Route 1 corridor for antique shopping, mini-golf, and local favorites like Bentley’s Saloon. 12-15 minutes to Biddeford (Market Basket, Wal Mart, Marden’s, and more)

THE GREAT OUTDOORS: With over 4 acres of privacy, there’s room for the whole crew to roam.

*Relax: Enjoy the sunset from the picnic tables or watch the local turkeys parade through the yard.

*Play: Challenge the family to cornhole or gather around the fire pit for s'mores.

THE INTERIOR LAYOUT

*The Living Room: Our primary gathering space features sun-drenched windows, an 85-inch TV for movie nights, and a queen-sized sleeper sofa (sleeps 2).

*The Kitchen: Fully equipped with the basics, including a Keurig (K-cups provided!), plus an in-unit washer and dryer. A gas grill is right outside the back door.

*The Bedrooms: * Primary (Main Floor): Queen bed, desk, and 40-inch TV.

*The "Tree House": Two cozy upstairs bedrooms that kids absolutely adore, each featuring a queen bed (one includes a desk).

*The Bath: One clean, full bathroom located just off the kitchen.

When we aren't prepping the cottage, we’re usually out enjoying the best of Maine. On the water, you’ll find us navigating the Kennebunk, Mousam, and Saco Rivers in our boat, or if it's winter, we’re likely hitting the slopes for some Maine skiing. We also have a deep appreciation for the local culture—whether it’s hunting for treasures and bargain shopping at Marden’s or heading over to Bentley’s Saloon for the Tuesday night car shows.

We love being hosts because this property has been a cornerstone of our family for 23 years, and we enjoy helping others discover the area. We’re happy to point you toward our favorite spots or give you the 'insider's guide' to local events that you won't find in the standard tourist brochures. Our goal is to make sure you experience the authentic, fun, and peaceful side of Southern Maine that has kept our family here for over 30 years.

Our property sits on 4.5 private acres, which is a rare find so close to the coast. It’s a place where you can actually hear the birds and see the stars, yet you’re only a 5-10 minute drive from the beaches and the bustle of Dock Square.

We chose this spot—and have stayed for over two decades—because it offers a 'buffer' from the summer crowds. You can spend your morning at the beach or shopping in town, then retreat back here for a quiet BBQ and a bonfire without the noise of neighbors or traffic. It’s the authentic Maine woods experience, just a stone's throw from everything.

What makes this property unique

The biggest differentiator is the sheer amount of breathing room and privacy. While most rentals in the area are tucked close together, our home sits on 4.5 acres of private, wooded land. You get the quiet serenity of the Maine woods while being just minutes from the coast.

We also take pride in offering what we believe is the best value in the Kennebunks. Because we are a local family managing our own property—we are able to keep our rates accessible for other families. Our goal is to provide an affordable, 'clean and honest' home base so you can spend your budget on lobster rolls and local adventures instead of just the roof over your head.

Finally, there’s the history: for over 2 decades, this cottage has been home to students of The Landing School, and still is during the September - May months. . That legacy of local hospitality is something we’re proud to continue as we open our doors to vacationers for the first time.
