Lake Front Home On Star Lake

Please note during the summer (june to the week before Labor Day) we rent only weekly (Saturday to Saturday.) .


4 season home, built in 2004, is equipped with all modern amenities including Direct TV, high speed Internet ( works well for video conferencing and streaming services), washer/dryer, microwave, dishwasher, 3500 square feet with downstairs equipped with billards, air hockey, chess table, fusball table, HDTV upstairs, downstairs, and master BR. The home also has for its guests 3 single passenger kayaks, one two person kayak, 3 SUP paddleboards, 14 foot flatback canoe, and a 14 foot rowboat.
For winter enthusiasts, one can snowmobile from our door about 100 yards to catch the marked trails! Snowshoe directly out the door, or nearby trails including cross country skiing are available! Ice fishing has hot spots directly off our lakefront.

Relaxation in the Northwoods

This cabin has gorgeous lake views from multiple rooms! It was a very clean and beautiful cabin. The games in the basement were perfect for those rainy moments and gave a variety of activities to do while staying there. It was a bit cold for swimming while we were there, but the shoreline looks very sandy and perfect for swimming by the cabin. Would highly recommend!!

Stunning Serenity

The Star Lake home was beyond expectations with everything you could need. The experience brought us all joy over our fortune to have connected with Mark to continue our annual Star Lake family vacation. The specific location stirred up stories/memories from 1959-1970s when our family first began coming to Star Lake. We are incredibly grateful and hope this is only the beginning of our shared time at this beautiful home and location. Thank you.

Perfect Holiday Getaway

We had the best Thanksgiving holiday at his property. We picked this property on Star Lake in Wisconsin because it was centrally located with our family being in Minnesota and Upper Peninsula of MI. The bonus is that this is such a beautiful area. It was so nice to wake up to the beautiful sunsets on Star Lake and we were able to take long nature walks along the lake. We only wish we could have enjoyed the lake more and/or the surrounding areas but the weather and covid did not allow it. We look forward to going back in nicer weather and after we get through the pandemic. Mark was an excellent host and ensured that we got settled in and had everything we needed. We made a huge Thanksgiving feast at the cabin and it had all the amenities we needed and a table big enough to fit the entire family. It was absolutely perfect and just the covid break we needed to reconnect with family. Thank you Mark!!

Amazing place for a family vacation

This cabin was perfect for my family of 6 adults and 4 kids. It had everything we needed. The basement was ideal for kids and adults, there was a pool table, air hockey, tv, tons of games and puzzles, lots of room, and a beautiful view. The kitchen was stocked with all the tools to make great meals. We were there for ice fishing and skiing and could not of been more pleased! We didn't leave the cabin much, but did take a trip into Boulder Junction and Eagle River, both close by. It is in a great location for nature and fun. I can picture summer being amazing! The only point that I can think that could be a problem was there were a lot of stairs to get down to the lake, but there is a road that could be used instead of stairs. Overall this is the first place my family has been to in 10 years that we want to go back to a second time. Mark the owner was helpful and easy to get a hold of. Beautiful views and a beautiful place!

This place was everything it was advertised to be. Very clean, beautifully appointed. Great, peaceful lake. Felt like we had the whole lake to ourselves. We have a family member in a wheelchair and brought our own portable ramp to get her in the house. The main floor was very accessible for her. The access road to the dock worked well. Dock was very sturdy and safe and plenty of room to dock both our pontoon and fishing boat. Plenty of parking for family vehicles and both boat trailers. Our teens enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks outside, and the pool table and air hockey inside. Owner was great to work with. Very quick to respond to our questions.

Amazing Property + Amazing Lake!

This is a beautiful property with all the relaxation and fun you need to create great family memories! It was unseasonably hot during our stay in early June, so we immediately took to the water to try out swimming, kayaking, and paddle boarding. When the kids had enough fun in the sun, they would head inside to battle it out over a game of air hockey or pool. My brother and nephew enjoyed golfing nearby, and the ladies took a morning trip to Bond Falls (a must see - take your hiking shoes!) Be sure to check out the Burnt Bridge Tavern (Conover) and have the Big A** Pretzel, and stop several times at the Star Lake Store for your fill of candy and local information. We also discovered the "secret beach" at Whitesand Lake (Boulder Junction) which provided a memorable afternoon for all adults (ages 40ish-70ish) and kids (ages 8 & 12) in our group. A fantastic area with friendly people - and Mark was so helpful with planning as well as during our stay! Wishing I was still on beautiful Star Lake, but until the next visit I'll be dreaming I'm in the Northwoods!

The property on Star Lake exceeded our expectations. The home is lovely, spacious, well-kept, clean and easily accommodates a family with both private areas and areas for fun-filled recreation. The home is easy to locate in the peaceful northern woods of WI and has direct access to the waters of Star Lake. Communication, with the owners of the property, was speedy and efficient.
